Could not get water to flow out at a set rate

    • Not so easy to adjust properly
To use these, you have to use plastic bottles and insert the device snuggly into the bottle. Then you’re supposed to adjust a valve that should control the rate that the water drips out (and into your potted plant.) Both processes are difficult. If the bottle is soft plastic, they squish when you try to fit the device into them, losing half the water. Sturdier plastic works better (like a Fiji bottle). But the adjustable valve seems pointless. Unless tightened down all the way, all the water drips out within a few hours. It says it should last 10 days. I’ve found it lasts 3 days tops with a 1 liter bottle. ... show more

Doesn’t work well because you expect it to water your plants slowly but you turn it upside down with spike inside plants, it suppose to adjust to let you control water and it does not.
