The Be Quiet Pure Rock 2 Slim is an aesthetically good looking unit. It's quite affordable compared to other comparable products from other vendors. It cools up to 130 Watts TDP, so make sure you check your CPU's TDP Wattage to make sure this cooler can handle it. Thermal paste is pre-applied and the default brackets setup is for AM4 AMD CPU's. They do include brackets for Intel CPU's, but it's a less eloquent mounting system than the default AMD mounting system. It comes with a 92mm fan, which helps with its compact size but still affords great (and quiet) cooling, airflow and overall performance. This product would not be good for extreme overclockers as you could potentially exceed the maximum TDP Wattage this fan is rated for. However, if you either leave your rig stock or even do mild overclocking, this fan should be more than sufficient for your needs - and at a very affordable price. ... show more

My 5600X was idling at 50 (C) degrees. Replaced the Wraith cooler with this. Idle temperature dropped to 36 degrees. Beautifully constructed. Fan is near-silent at 50%. Comes with thermal compound already applied. Smaller size means it will fit in almost any case. Extremely easy to install, especially if your motherboard is out of the case.     • Quiet and cool!
This fan, combined with two 140mm case fans, has kept my server at room temperature for a few months straight. It installed easily, looks clean, and runs quietly. I was worried it would get warm because the heat pipes are so long before the heat sink starts, but it hasn't been an issue. Mounting the fan to the heat sink is a little awkward, and I wish they had included another set of fan brackets in case I wanted to mount another fan (but after using this for a few months, another fan wouldn't have been necessary). ... show more

I needed to air cool a AMD 5600x and this smaller Air cooled tower does pretty good. While its nothing like a water cooled system, it still gets the job done. It came with the AMD spring locks already installed, they did provide the mounting kit for the Intel chips also. I found it easy to mount onto my 5600x, but that crazy spring wire you use on the fan, is not an ideal mounting system, so I had to take a star away for that cheap idea, I know most manufacturing are going to that type of mount, still doesn't make it ideal. AT full turbo speed the fan is whisper quiet, kudos on that. I used my own higher quality thermo paste. ... show more

Bought to replace an aging AMD fan that was getting extremely noisy and inefficient. This BK030 fan fits very well, easy to install and has a high cooling capacity (for my application). Worked well for about a year on my old computer and was moved to a new build recently. Computer is practically silent and CPU temps remain in recommended range.     • Terrible mounting for Intel, poorly packaged
I never was able to get this to work. I thought it was going to be a cheap upgrade for my second rig of old parts but it ended up being a waste of money and went in the trash. The company's site say's it's compatible with LGA1151 but the plastic clips wouldn't stay attached. It seemed like the height was too short. I could get some of the clips to stay but they didn't engage very well in the mounting holes. Second major issue is that they don't really cover the thermal paste. The cooler and fan are seated in the same plastic tray which does not seal. Because of this there were pieces of cardboard and debris on the thermal paste. I actually returned the first one partially because of this. The second one came the exact same way. I had to scrape the paste off and use some that I had left over from another build. In the end this one went in the trash and I'm ordering an Arctic eSports. I at least know that one will work as I have it on my other rig. I don't want to waste any more time and money. ... show more

I'm not pushing my new build with the latest games, but so far I haven't heard a peep from it since I got it up and running a month and a half ago. I do the same things on this pc(except using ubuntu), as I did with my loser acer nitro suckface edition, and that made sounds like what I hear when starting up an aircraft.
