UPDATE: I originally rated this three stars but am moving to four. We've had this for over two years now and have moved it probably 3 or 4 times and it's survived being picked up and moved around. It is also worth noting that the shelf is not bowing at all which tends to happen with cheaper plywood shelves once they've held some weight for awhile. We do just have it holding games and some consoles so not an excessive amount of weight but still. Original For the price it is not bad. I probably would buy again though it's definitely not a five star product. First, the packaging was very good, box came undamaged, there was styrofoam there, and the glass was in another box within the box with more styrofoam. So that was all good. All of the pieces were accounted for. Screws wood all that jazz. The instructions were ehh. Not difficult to understand (though all in pictures no text) though I thought it could have been in a different order, for example, I would recommend putting the legs on prior to the sides. All four legs were slightly warped or scratched or something. I'm not sure what was going on with the bottom where they were to attach...there were several, very small holes in sets of four. Not thick enough for the screws to put the legs on, and too close together to match the holes in the legs, also, there are four holes in the legs for four screws but the wood you screw it into only has room for three. Included pictures of that. It's still sturdy and level but is clearly a design flaw. There were also many holes that weren't drilled. The holes to hold the glass holders, the legs, with this kind of material forcing a screw in you are very likely to crack the "wood" so you should probably have an electric drill or screw driver ready. It took me about an hour and a half to put it together alone, I'm sure it could go much faster with help though and again, put the legs on before the sides since you will likely have to make your own holes for the leg it would be much easier to do with the wood flat working upside down on the bottom instead of having to work on it sideways. Definitely scratches easily, bottom does have some damage already from the first time I shut it it was very slightly low enough to rub and knicked it up. But it was cheap so I expect as much. For the money it is reasonable but not a superb product either. Overall it feels sturdy as in if I shake it the whole thing doesn't move, but I would not recommend using it as a bookcase as I guarantee the shelves will bend with moderate weight to them. ... show more

Easy enough for one person to assemble. A little grey-er in person. Hate the feet. The top and bottom were both labeled the same # when they were supposed to be different. Not having predrilled holes for the feet is odd but fine if you have a drill. Fine for the price. Nice and roomy inside

This would have gotten a 5 star review but for the assembly. Overall, I am happy with my purchase. I purchased these cabinets to replace a metal microwave stand, and they work perfectly an add closed in storage. However, the assembly of this cabinet is atrocious! The instructions only contain pictures and some of the predrilled holes are missing. I was able to figure out where the holes should be and complete the assembly. As in a few of the other reviews, i ended up with a gap in the doors. Also, I did not use the feet. The brown legs in the original picture would be much better and add height. The manufacturer definitely needs to address the assembly issue and provide better instructions and legs. ... show more

Value for money means you get what you pay for and that describes this cabinet perfectly. Of course you can assemble it. Its not so easy. I didn't pay for it to be easy. I got possible and I got completed and I got not perfect and it looks okay and my stuff fits in it. If you are looking for better than that, pay more. I assembled it by myself. I had to work at. I like it. It is sturdier than the other one I got first. Give it a thumbs up. You do need a drill. ... show more

Guess quality control isn't there anymore now a days, considering the world is a "little" on fire, but all in all, this storage cabinet is beautiful and well made. Missing the part that stops the doors from swinging inward. Almost a five. Again, easy mistake. Anyone can make a mistake. Easy fix!

For less than $100 it's a good deal. I took off a star because it's pretty flimsy and the finish scratches off easily. I have a nine month old infant and a 5 & 7 year old so I'm wondering how this will hold up to them messing with it... I also think that there should be cut outs on the back for cords and stuff because many people buy this to put electronics in. I bought this to put my router etc into so my baby wouldnt be able to mess with it. Other than that I think this is a good product for the price, it's actually very pretty and useful. Edit: sorry that the lighting in pics aren't great ... show more

Finished product is perfect for what I was looking for (cabinet to hold boardgames) without spending too much money. It took my 16 year old son and I about 1.5 hours to put together (a few frustrating moments - nails/screws going in crooked, not reading directions fully). I've never put doors on with hinges that allow you to adjust in 2 different directions (front/back & left/right) so it took a minute to figure it out but having that capability makes the doors look so much better that hinges you can't adjust. There were a few minor surface flaws but nothing that wouldn't occur during regular use with kids (I may have scratched it without realizing it). ... show more

For the price, it's good - the back is a very flimsy piece of particle board, but as long as you aren't shoving books or other items into the backing, you'll be fine.
