We're a very low-income/young family and we've been without a dining room table for over a year because it's just been out of our budget. We finally were able to purchase this table set and I love it so much already! I put it together myself (my husband helped me flip the table over) and it's very sturdy. I'm about 230lbs and it easily supports my weight. I can even push back on the back part of the chair without it feeling like it's going to break. Also even though it's white it doesn't seem to stain which is a huge plus! My son just had pizza and got sauce everywhere but no stains! Surface easily peels paint. Bought plastic cover on Amazon and problem solved. Came with peels off corners. Places some corner protectors for the kids and it was hidden. Under the table the paint was barely with one coat and scratches. If not for this it would it be 5 stars for the price. Update: Not even three months later and one chair is broken. Picture was added. I was helping my 50 lbs daughter scoot in and the whole back piece came off. The rest of the chairs have the same piece already becoming very loose. You cannot screw them in or tighten because this piece already comes assembled. Now I have to buy a separate set of chairs. ... show more

It was a Cute table and was great for about 3 months, after that one chair started to creek and another randomly broke while my husband was sitting in it causing him to almost fall completely out of the chair. Great value! It’s super cute and looks small but once you sit at it, decently roomy for what it is. Great for small places, easy directions and easy assembly just a tad time consuming bc you can’t get power tools in to where certain pieces need to be put together. I’m a little heavier than I’d like to admit (prob 200), and they don’t feel like they’re struggling at all, don’t think they’d hold up to regulars use of people over 275 though without adding braces. I really like this kitchen set had it a few weeks and it is just what I was looking for easy to put together and easy to wipe down. I got chair pads for the chairs so it’s more comfortable. I got a lot of compliments on it and it’s opens up my space. I had a high rise table with chairs for years but as we are getting older this works so much better. Dinette set purchased to use in small apartment for a year. May not last that long. Crack in one chair leg. Spindly wood. Rails and backs just not sturdy. Looks plastic.
