The batteries perform as expected. Two installed in RV with solar. One failed completely after 3 years. Assume the BMS went bad. Company was great and did replace it. That said, we were on a 4 month trip in Mexico and had to go 3 months on 1 battery as the replacement could only be shipped for free to US address. Arranging shipping from US to a remote Mexico address is challenging and expensive. We could have purchased a Chinese knockoff from Amazon Mexico. The question is: Is it worth 3 times the money for the support? Or buy knockoff, then buy another one if it fails out of warranty. ... show more

I built a tiny house with wanting to be off grid at some point. I bought everything in pieces as I needed and could afford to for the solar. I started out with 4 deep cycle golf cart batteries and ended up buying a total of 16 . thought I had gotten a great deal because my nephew got them for me at his cost roughly $125.00 per battery. I looked at these batteries and thought a grand per battery thats insane! Well after having my 16 battery bank for about a year and not having enough storage to hold me over on cloudy days . It was ether buy more lead acid or bite the bullet and spend the money for these lithium. A little about my power usage if I have everything on electric on in my house I only draw around 16 amps. I have all 12 volt dc lights ,TV , and fridge . The only things on 120 volts are my computer and my propane on demand hot water. Now about these batteries :) cant stop smiling when I got them one was at 13.27 and the other was at 13.36 volts. I cabled them together so they were still 12 volts then left them over night to balance I was told I did not need to but did it anyway. So now I go unhook my lead acid battery bank and hook these two batteries up changing controller to what it needed. I did my normal things for the day that would have drawn my lead acid batteries down to almost bottom of a acceptable discharge . Now with these two batteries set up They charge up to 14.3 volts and at the end of the day doing my normal things they will only drop to about 13.2 volts. So in my opinion I wasted almost 2 grand on lead acid batteries. So if you are looking to go off grid do your self a favor and bite the bullet and buy these batteries worth every penny and more . If my electric needs grow I will most defiantly be buying more of these. ... show more

I used 1,100A 12v battery for 6 months in the camper you see (wanted 2 c just how little I could live on off grid full time) so can't complain, handled more than a few jumps, internals are as good as they get check out (DIY on youtube) till I saw such great prices 2 years later, returned this 1 & bought 2 PQ 100A 12v Lith LOVE THESE BATTERIES MAN they have 190A 240A 460A singles so if you have the room I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SAVE YOU CASH GET A WELL MADE INTERNAL & BMS (again check out DIY youtube) I could get 4 PQ batts for the price of 2 BB, forget it! ... show more

It's been 4 years since I installed these batteries to run a 24 volt trolling motor on my boat that gets used year round , I only have positive things to say about Battleborn batteries , they have been carefree and charge like they did the first day , I can say when I first bought them I had a problem with one of the batteries BMS which Battleborn quickly replaced with no cost to me ..Great company and battery and USA made ! ... show more

Put these in the RV. They have worked very well and we are happy to move away from our wet / lead acid batteries. Really liked the sturdy side post connectors for the wires hooking up to the batteries. Very sturdy. I returned another leading brand because the top posts were so small and flimsy I was having a hard time making all of my connections. Be aware that, for an RV application, you may need to upgrade your controller if you current controller does not have a option to support lithium batteries. My neighbors controller had a switch he could flip for going to lithium. My RV did not. I spent about 250 on my replacement controller and self installed it which was relatively easy in a WFCO power center. Just follow standard safety protocol working with electricity. Some RV owners also need to address an upgrade to their alternator set up if it charges the house batteries and is not set up for the higher voltage of lithium batterie(s). I did not have that issue so I have no insights into that. Lastly if you have solar panels make sure your solar control panel supports lithium. Mine did but sone do not. You can most likely upgrade that too for a couple of hundred bucks if needed. You may also need a lithium charger! They do not come fully charged and there is a requirement to fully charge them before installing to insure proper discharge going forward. The conversion could be a bit pricey, but for me not worrying my batteries making it through the day / night was well worth it. I have had zero battery angst since this upgrade. ... show more
