These jumpers are amazing! They are so compact, but will jump a V8 engine in no time. My absolute go too. My last one lasted three years before I needed to replace it. Worth the investment!

I purchased two of these batteries, one to keep in my car and one for my son to keep in his car. I wanted to have these available in case the vehicle battery failed. Neither of these two Deltran jump starters was ever used. Every 3 or 4 months I plugged them in to keep them charged up and available for an emergency involving a dead car battery. After two years my Deltran jump starter was completely dead. Wouldn't charge or turn on. Never used. 6 months later the one I had given to my son was also completely dead. Wouldn't charge or turn on. I contacted Deltran and was told that their warranty is good for only one year. Definitely not a product or company that I would count on in an emergency situation. ... show more

Product is amazing. Bought this from an experience with a friend when battery died on highway. We didn't have to stop and ask a stranger (which can be dangerous based in the area we were in) and all she did was take out the gadget which is compact and easy to store and charge her battery which was finished in 10 minutes. We left and after I soon asked her to send me information on this product. My roommate had a situation where she uses her bike more now than ever with covid, so when she had to go out her battery died because it stalled in the garage for more than a month. This bad boy charged her up. Its easy to use and instructions are very clear. Items like need more advertising. I would have never bought this if it wasn't from being stuck on the highway with my friend. My cable cords always needed juice from another car which is sometimes stressful.     • I have had several devices from this company's line but their customer service is quite lacking.
I received Battery Tender® 1000 AMP Jump Starter - 8000mAh which I purchased through Amazon. Upon opening and preparing to do the initial charge I noticed that the charging cable was different. While it had the Type C-USB 5VDC, 3A end on the cable there was NOT a Micro USB 5VDC, 2A end on the cable nor the little piece of cable that would connect the two if the Type C was detached in order to use the Micro USB connection. Both the box that it came in and the instruction booklet showed both connectors "piggybacked" but it was obviously quite different. I realize that I should be able to use the Type C to charge the unit but really should have the combination cable, as advertised and if needed. I contacted to company since it was their issue as the double boxes that the item was packaged were theirs and sealed, not Amazon's issue. All Amazon did was over-pack it for delivery. But Deltran was not cooperative at all in trying to rectify the situation and said I need to contact Amazon. I did and the Amazon representative was very helpful and explained my options, even though the problem was within Deltran's own supply chain. Thank you Amazon for being so helpful!! ... show more

Fortunately, I have not had to use it yet, but I love the concept of being small compact easy to carry in the car and will get me out of situations. I will write more when I have an opportunity to use it.
