Gave this to my twin boys as a Christmas gift. Just opened the box and tried to put together last night because we are going to have 60 degree weather in a couple of days and they wanted to use it. The two main pieces that you connect together have been flattened and cannot connect as they are supposed to. The whole thing is useless now and I cannot return because it has been over 30 days. Full disclosure: I was fully expecting this to be awful. For under $100, to have all of these different pieces, seemed like it should be pretty cheap. But only the best for our kids, ammiright? So consider my shock when we set this up (we meaning my wife. I cannot be trusted with even the simplest of tasks) and not only was it sturdy, but its tent-post style attachments for the frame were super easy to install. The netting is pretty sturdy with easy to use velcro fasteners along the bottom bar to hold it in place. The little basket to hold soft/base/whiffle balls is a really nice touch. Far better than our cracked green plastic garbage pail we were using (not pictured). So why only 4 stars? Mostly because of the strike-zone attachments and some of the instructions. There was a complete lack of instructions on how to add the strike zone grids. W(sh)e had to look online at the photos of the product to get an idea. Side note, those are not accurate because the strap lengths are not consistent. While these are not super important to us right now, they might be later and it was a little annoying that while everything else was surprisingly nice, these seemed to be on brand with my first, pre-purchase, impression. But I highly recommend this to anyone that is looking for something that will hold up well for awhile without breaking the bank. ... show more

Sturdy, easy to put together and take apart to store. Love all of the included pieces. We have kids who play softball, and they love to practice using this set with other kids in the neighborhood. The biggest bonus is that our youngest daughter (11) can set this up and put it away without help from us, which means it gets more use AND it gets put away instead of staying fully assembled and taking up space in our garage. 10/10. ... show more

Bought this for my son and it was very easy it was to assemble. It was well-constructed and came with so many things to help with everyday practice at home or on the field. Many of these are just the net and maybe a tee, so it was nice to have the added ball basket and targets for the net. It's also very quick and easy to adjust the tee as he grows. This product is similar to others like it--this isn't an original design, except that the lower support bar is thicker than the one our local team uses, so this hitting net is very sturdy. It does measure about 7x7 ft and worked well for my young slugger. They include 2 versions of a strike zone that can be attached to the netting, one of which may be useful for the pitcher who is working on precise aim (low inside, high outside, etc...) The carry case is a nice touch. The kit comes with a ball storage hopper that holds 15-18 or so softballs at waist height as well as a batting tee which may be useful for the older player doing solo batting practice or really young players.
