After some research a few people online suggested this Bars leak sealer and I said let me give it a try as per instructions on the box ..... This truck sat for 9 years. When I fired it up, it smoked some. I changed oil and added Bars Leak and it is slowing the smoke down. I believe it is loosening up the rings. I like it.

Bar leaks oil seal works well. Had a minor leak in oil pan gasket. Didn’t want to have to remove entire engine in lawn tractor to replace it then put it back on. It’s a huge 26 hp Koehler. Well - after 2 runs of cutting the lawn, no more oil leak from oil pan. Still a leak on one side above the right axle. Somewhere. Thinking it’s a head gasket on that cyclinder, however, the instructions did say 250 miles-+ before stopping all leaks. We shall see if it affects that leak. If not - easy repair. Highly recommend product. I’d give it 5 stars but for the leak is still there from someplace but otherwise it WORKS!!! ... show more

My mechanic told me that my engine was slowly leaking oil from so many valves that what I needed was a new engine, and to start counting the days while using [another brand's stop-leak] to hold off the tide. I read up a lot and decided to try this, a couple of weeks later. I was having my oil changed anyway, so I asked the mechanic to substitute this for 1/2 quart of oil, as the package says, then I followed the instructions about running it afterwards, etc. to the letter—— ——and to my surprise, I seem to have no more leaking at all! It's been weeks now and it all seems to be going great. I know my poor ol' car can't hold on forever, but if this lovely product can help it to hold on until I can afford something newer, I'll be a forever-fan!!! ... show more
