Don't purchase imitation batteries. They may look like the genuine article, but they frequently not up to the task. These are worth the small extra price and are much less expensive than purchasing them from the 'big box' stores.

I once purchased knock-off 18v batteries, and they never fit right, and they drained quickly. They would get stuck on my tools; I would have to pry them off. The Milwaukee batteries work right every time. You get what you pay for.

I tried to return defective battery for replacement , unfortunately Amazons policy was not to ship damaged lithium batteries. I was unable to return, the seller gave no help when messaged about tho problem. The package was damaged, the shipping and packing was not at all what was expected. I would buy these batteries at a place you can actually return if damage and avoid this problem with this seller. These batteries are great when handled correctly, I’ve purchased them from other places and never had a problem. They function well, so I was disappointed when these arrived unusable.
