I purchased several non-DeWalt batteries from different companies because of cost. “You get what you pay for” really applies. Like all batteries, DeWalt batteries have a use life but it’s noticeably longer than the others. End result is that you don’t really save in the long run.

I'm a fan of the yellow and gold all the way! These batteries are good and powerful! I do wish they last a little longer between charging and they are heavy. Consider that for overhead work. I would buy again be abuse they are powerful and longevity of DeWalt batteries are good.
