I have not so good vision and I’m using Siri to write this. Please excuse any strange words. I’m getting ready to have some surgery done and I need to keep cold ice packs near my bed so I purchased this unit. It is great. It’s the right size and has quite a large area for freezing and yes, the freezer door is its own door. It’s not a door inside of the refrigerator as many have. it took me a day or two to get used to the gurgling. It’s not very loud but when you’re used to sleeping and silence, you wake up and that sounds like a pipe is broken in the house which hasn’t happened. I’m very glad I bought it. The only thing I wish it had was better feet so that it could stay on the carpeting without blocking the door . Other than that that’s good. I bought this mini fridge for my 95yr Gma and she is not moving and doesn’t need it any longer. I tried to cancel the order before it was ever delivered and that was unsuccessful. Then once it arrived, I reached out to Bangson bc the return label is more like a template and I would likely have to pay for the return. I asked for a pickup and their reply asked if it was working and that someone would get back with me. Nothing about pick up. It was similar on email 2 and 3. On my 4th email to the company, they did not reply. So I have three days left or I keep the fridge. I will never buy anything from this company again. ... show more

i keep food, drinks, and ice cream in this thing with the temperature knob set to 4. keeps them all appropriately cold. i started at the highest setting, 7, and it makes things in the fridge frosty and icy (had some fruit with little bits of ice on it). dropped down to 3 and that leaves ice cream sort of mushy and half melted. 5 makes ice cream a little too hard for my liking, but it's also perfectly suitable. (this is also how i discovered that ice cream has a lower freezing point than water, because i had put a water bottle in the freezer first to determine if it was cold enough to store ice cream and it froze so i thought it would be fine.) it's kind of surprising how small it is (i have to crouch or sit on the floor) but it also holds a surprising amount imo. very happy with this purchase! ... show more

I received my red little fridge yesterday the 29th of November. I needed that fridge in my room because the big refrigerator in the kitchen it's too small for the whole family. When I buy some personal stuff the kids use them all the time (my kids and my niece and my sister ) . I did read all the reviews and I realized I should buy this one . They are 2 people who weren't happy about their purchases, I took my chance anyway. I will wait to see how the result will be after 3,4,5 months and more .
