    • For a relatively inexpensive hearing aid, this unit is comfortable and works extremely well.
It charges quickly with a standard USB charger. Sounds great compensating for my hearing loss. Inexpensive. Comfortable with a variety of ear pieces. The microphone is on the top of the main body that sits behind the ear, which seems to work well but is still subject to a feedback squeal if you get anything close to it such as your hand or reclining against a cushion. This is probably unavoidable in this type of hearing amplifier. My unit quit working after 9 months but is replaced under the 3 year warranty. Warranty response by email has been immediate, same day. Overall I think this unit is a great value and performs well. No reason for me to buy expensive hearing aids. I am also impressed by the interior mechanical and electronic design. Unlike most of such devices, this one is very easy to open up for service such as replacing the battery if you have any electronics experience. It is a soldered connection.     • Seller's customer service to resolve problem with unit
Amplifier significantly improved hearing sounds in the ear with the greatest loss. The unit is generally comfortable and unobtrusive. While I don't know how my improved hearing would compare with a custom hearing aid, I am very satisfied with the results for the significantly lower investment. My only criticism is the distorted and disturbing sound produced when pieces of metals or other objects are jangled together (e.g. a set of dog tags, or keys on a key ring). It results in a sharp clashing sound thru the amplifier. I am especially impressed by the company's customer service. After about a month of using the device, it seemed to stop working. Despite being fully charged it was not amplifying any sounds nor could I verify that it was actually turning and staying on when I pushed the power button. Within 1 day of sending the seller an email via Amazon concerning either a refund or return of the unit I received the seller's response offering a free replacement. However, the seller recommended that I follow its instructions to test whether the unit was actually amplifying sound (even if it wasn't being heard), and then to clean the ear piece which might have been causing the sound blockage. After completing the testing and cleaning the unit was fully working. ... show more

    • Noise cancellation inadequate for me
Having previously been using high-end hearing aids, I really wanted these to work out for me. One of my very pricey hearing aids quit and was not repairable, so I gave these a shot. These units were small, comfortable, and amplified sound nicely. What didn't work for me was the noise cancellation. My biggest hearing issue is in noisy environments - trying to carry on a conversation in crowded rooms or in the car driving at highway speeds. These didn't seem to cancel out such background noise, but rather just amplified it along with all other sounds. Thus, for me, they didn't work out. ... show more

    • Attentive customer service and a good product as well.
I'm a male in my early 50's and have hereditary hearing loss. My doctor had been saying I needed a hearing aid since my late 40s but I was reluctant thinking I was too young to be getting one - a sign of weakness, blah, blah, blah. Thing is I'm not at all that type of guy that has to present a strong image, so I finally decided to get over myself and purchase one. Intimidated by the high prices of the "real" ones, and especially because I had never had one before, I decided on this model. I've heard the stories of how even the real ones never work right, etc. so figured this more fiscally attainable model was the way to start. Well, I really like it. I use it in the ear that has more hearing loss and I find that after seven months using it, I will never go back to not using something. It's very discreet - my wife on many occasions thought I was not wearing it when I was. This was even back in early March 2020, pre-Covid, when I had short hair. The only thing I have issues with are the domes. I find that the large ones are too large, but the next smallest size are too small. This is a very personal issue so it's not really a fault of the unit. I end up using one size for a period of time, then switching to the other for a bit. I can't seem to make up my mind which works better. I still have to use captioning on the TV but I think that's more habit now. I keep the volume much lower now: I went from a 32/33 to a 20/21 on my Vizio. That probably doesn't mean anything to anybody, but there it is anyway. I keep the hearing aid unit at mid-volume level as well. One more thing is that the company has great customer service. I've used them twice - once to inquire about different dome sizes and another time because the unit stopped working (turns out I went too long without cleaning it - worked again right after doing so) and they always respond next day via email and will listen to you and work with you.     • Bad Bad Quality...Never buy
Bad quality product. I brought the product three times for my old dad. I imagine that the previous ones were defective so was keep buying them. But I was wrong. The product itself is bad quality. The dome doesn't work properly. Also the critical problem is, it beeps all the time as soon as you wear it. It doesn't charge properly. It never worked and if you wear it, you might get frustrated with the beeps. I would not recommend anyone to buy this product. I bet you will definitely lose your money. ... show more

    • These Didn't Work Well for Us But They Might For Others!!!
My husband and I each purchased one to try to hear the dialogue in movies better. The music is sometimes as loud as the voices, which is not helpful for 70-year old ears. Ha! We thought we'd give this a try but it didn't work for us. In our case, it amplified OUR voices uncomfortably but didn't actually increase the clarity of the dialogues in some of the movies we choose. So ... we sent them back. They might work very well for others who don't talk to each other as much as we do. Both of us really appreciate the easy return policy. ... show more
