    • beyond worth the money. Improved back day and alleviated tendonitis
So I don’t ever write reviews but I feel like I owe it to anyone considering buying these to let them know my experience. I've been a consistent gym goer bodybuilder for 20 years. Not a casual lifter by any stretch and am very experienced with various equipment and training. I've seen people use these style attachments in the gym before but had never tried them. I came across these generic ones on Amazon and since building a home gym decided for the price why not add them to arsenal. First off - the quality beyond exceeded my expectations. The grippy rubberized coating is so heavy duty feeling that I can't imagine it'll ever be an issue for my one person use. I'd put these in a commercial gym in a heartbeat tbh. The ergonomics of them are just unreal. Back work is one of those things that trainees can sometimes have a hard time 'feeling' work. Man do these grips really engage the back to a degree you can feel. What furthermore is just how much they remove the delts, biceps, and forearms from the work. Ive been using these for 3 weeks and every back day I'm amazed by just how freaking hard I can smash my sets, but still feel like I have more volume in me - and its clearly because most other back work is fatiguing my ancillary muscles before my back itself (notably forearms). Whats more is for the last 8 months of been battling and nursing medial epicondylitus (golfers elbow). It initially required a few months of very light workout just to improve. I since had been training with straps on all pull exercises to alleviate some of the strain on it - which helped but it hasn't gotten completely better in the last 6 months either. With these grips my tendonitis is not only not bothered - but its actually improving. Back day is currently my favorite workout in my rotation just because of how productive they've been. If you're considering these, I wouldn't hesitate. Well worth the money. Also its worth noting that I'm a bit of a diva and don't believe in ultra wide back work for shoulder health. I dont use the top two wider pulldown attachments only the 22" smaller one and the close clip attachment on the bottom. Other people may be more comfortable using those specific attachments but even if you're not - for the price these cost just adding 2 to my workout (22" pulldowns and the the bottom attachment on low cable rows) has been well worth the money. I got this set of lat pulldown attachments to add to my home gym setup and I was not disappointed! The lat attachments are very well made and have a good rubber coating. The coating holds together well yet is not overly stiff which allows for comfort while using. The hand grips are substantial which allows for a good hold. This type of ergonomic pulldown set is great for lat/back work, offering great isolation while being comfortable to hold at the most difficult part of the pull. The five sizes offer the ability to hit the muscles in a different way. Just remember that larger carabiners are necessary for these and are not included. I ordered 4” carabiners to attach these to my cable pulley system. For ease I just keep a carabiner attached to each one which also makes them easier to hang for storage. ... show more

    • Nice sturdy bars
These are good neutral grip bars... As I got them on sale they were a great value... They are very sturdy and haven't had any issues with them. Note they are heavy so if you were wanting to you prob couldn't carry more than one or two around in a gym bag

    • Better option for targeting back
I’d used similar pull down bars at the gym before, but only infrequently when the standard ones weren’t available. Ordered the full set for use at home with a pulley system and I will not be going back to a regular handle again. First, these are solidly made. They have a bit of heft to them. The way the handles are designed allows you to get a very solid grip without burning your forearms out or without your fingers slipping. That can be a problem with standard bars once you start to fatigue during your sets. I always hated the feeling that I could’ve gotten a few more reps had my grip not burned out. My main reason for getting these was because they help take a LOT of the work off the forearms. I also came to find that they almost naturally allow you to use your back more. It makes it MUCH easier to feel your back working, which can be a hard muscle group to mentally key in on with standard bars. I’ve been using the longer bars for pull downs and the two smaller ones(one is a reverse grip)for back rows. That was when I really realized I’d been missing out. Would HIGHLY recommend that if you have a lay pull down machine, you get this set. It really is a game changer. ... show more

    • Heavy, durable…great handles!
Way worth the price. However, they were a little heavier than I anticipated they would be, which makes them a little more difficult for my 5’4” wife to attach them to the overhead cable. Nonetheless, she loves them, as do I. At least two of them are a weekly part of our back routine.

These are way cheaper than main brands and the quality is just as good. I couldn’t bring myself to pay the much larger price for gym brands and came across these. I was buying them figuring they wouldn’t be as nice but hoping for decent. When they came I was totally satisfied with this purchase. And so glad I didn’t waste money for a name brand.     • Great for the money, weird hole spacing
For the price, these are a great deal. Great textured coating, seem solid and well constructed. However, as many have noted, the hole spacing is inconsistent with the edge of the metal. 2 of the grips I could use regular carabiners with, but 3 didn't fit. I ordered these and that solved my problem https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073TLDL72. They're a little too large to have full freedom of movement, but I leave them clipped to the pulldown bars and have a different carabiner on the cable machine ... show more

    • Great alternative to MagGrips
I was close to ordering MagGrips until I saw this open box offer of 5 attachment for about the same price. I gave it a try and I'm very pleased with the products. All attachments are well coated, grippy, and solid. The coating is soft enough to toss around without worrying about it banging around yet still firm enough to have a solid grip on the the handles. The only thing I don't like is how small and thick the eyelets are on 3 of 5 attachments which doesn't work with any of my carabiners so I have to look for bigger, thinner carabiners ... show more
