Due to me being very indecisive and being swayed by reviews, it took me forever to settle on a bag. I ordered 2, this one (next day delivery) and another brand, I wasn’t sure would arrive on time…and it didn’t. So I had to use this one and I was not disappointed. First impressions were good. It seemed sturdy, rolled nice, and had no issues with the handle. The lock was a bonus, not a necessity for me, but also had no issues with it. It comfortably fit everything I needed for 3 nights including an extra pair of shoes. I had no issues with the zippers, even after zipping and unzipping what felt like a hundred times. It fit nicely in the overhead compartment of American Airlines. With that said, it did scuff a little. Flying out of DC we couldn’t have wheels in the cabin, so they put it underneath where the scuffing occurred. But you can’t really notice. At the time I wasn’t sure yet about the lining, though it didn’t feel horrible and was securely sewn in. After returning home and comparing the two, this one is definitely better made and feels like it will last awhile vs the other (which I am returning). I purchased the carry-on version for a cruise last June and have used it on 3 trips this year. It rolls so easily. It is easy to reset the combination lock. Overall works great. I liked it so much that I purchased the larger suitcase toward the end of the year for a longer road trip. Again, this suitcase is sturdy and easy to roll.
