    • Small but mighty, and not just for ashes!
I used this for fireplace corners, and then opened the two metal latches to see such a dusty mess. So, I put a small trash bag inside and taped it down so it wouldn't get in the way of the intake, and I went about using this in my back patio to vacuum up leaves and dirt. This time, it was flawless and all the dirt and gunk was captured inside the trash bag. I didn't have to wipe down the inside of the barrel nor did I have to clean it like the first use with the ashy mess. This does have an overheating safety shutoff, and after 30-45 minutes of constant vacuuming, it did shut itself off. It took another half hour to cool, and then it was off to the races again. I love this for a tiny back patio vacuum plus the gardening corner of my garage. Perfect for small jobs and the double filters do very well filtering the dirt and keeping it from blowing in the air (there's also an extra filter included). ... show more
