Description

A towering tribute constructed for the most daring of little climbers: the Mount McKinley. Whether they scale the rock climbing wall, scramble up the step ladder, or pull themselves up the rope ladder, your kids will feel like they reached the highest peaks of this play set. You don’t need an off-road vehicle to feel like you’re cruising along the Rockies — the open wooden plank structure of the upper outdoor playhouse, along with its bright green tarp roof, telescope and steering wheel, transport every imagination to a mountain range oasis. Taking a quick slide back down from the summit, you’ll store your nature souvenirs in the toy storage box and then finish your adventure on the belt swings or swing trapeze bar.

  • Great product and easy to build
This is a great kit. There was one image backwards on the instructions and one board was mislabeled on the instructions for placement. The hardest part about this kit was separating all the parts and arranging them in a useable order. The construction seems odd at times as you will “jump” around building pieces unlike most construction from the ground up. Just be patient and look at the instructions and ensure images are correct. Took about 8 hours to put together just because it’s such a large puzzle and sometimes you switch bolt and screw packets. Make sure your ground is level and square as possible before putting together. We laid a tarp out to get an idea of where we wanted ours in our yard and how we wanted it oriented. They also have where you can use an image of the swing set and place it where you want in the camera/photo of the area. We also used some landscape timbers and rubber mulch for the inside areas of the set and it took over 50bags! A few tools are needed and another person is needed when ready to start to put it all together but only briefly. No missing parts or hardware and minimal tools required. They even provided most of the tools and bits for screws as well as a gauge for board separation. We added the toddler and baby swing as the kit only comes with normal swings. ... show more

  • Good quality for price
Out of all the play sets we looked at this was the best priced and overall good quality if you are looking for something on the smaller side. We have small/young children who play on this play set so it is perfect for them. My husband and I were able to get the entire thing put together in about two days. Was pretty easy yet putting the slide together was the least fun and pretty tedious. ... show more

  • Lots of flaws
The media could not be loaded. This playground is beautiful and it seems to be sturdy if built in a leveled ground. The assembly is doable if you have some previous experience and tons of patience. It has an app that helps a lot but many times some boards needed to be in an exact position because of the holes but the instructions were not that detailed. It requires a lot of extra tools (the list is on the instructions but not here) so be aware of that. The best tip that I read here it was to line up all the boards in numeric order and do the same with the screws. Another gold tip was to open the screw bags just enough to get the screw out otherwise they'll be everywhere. It took me about 5h to pre assemble by myself. Then I needed help which it was minimal. And the real assembly took me a whole day from 9am-5pm not stopping for anything. My kid loves it but I wouldn't do it again. The only reason I did it myself it was because the assembly company suggested in the box had an estimate for after Christmas and after a month I got in touch about hiring them. All of that at a 790$ cost. Some of the T-nuts do not stay on and destroy the wood so it is hard to trust that will hold and the screw spins loose. One of the boards that goes under the floor split in half when I put the screw in. Lots of the bolts loose its grip after screwed in so if you have to redo it is almost impossible. The slide is a pain to assemble and the holes didn't match. Some screws under the floor are in an angle that you cannot reach with the screwdriver so you'll need an angle extension (like I said, lots of tools) Think twice about building yourself unless you enjoy and have some experience. ... show more

  • Awesome
Put this up for the 3 year old and she loves it. Sturdy and well made. Worth the money. Looked at many playgrounds and decided on this. Im happy that we did.

  • Totally worth the labor to assemble.
This thing takes easily 8-10 hours to build. All the wood is labeled, which makes it easy to identify what needs to go where. Plenty of extra hardware. The wood is perfect for the kiddos who get to play one it. It even supported my 210lbs to get the higher up pieces together. Good looking wood grain color. I got this for my daughter as an early birthday present, and she absolutely loves it. She's all over it and constantly jumping from one thing to the next. She's had so much fun playing on it. The hours of labor really made it worth while to see her big smile. I assembled it by myself, but it would go faster with more people, not to mention power tools. Can't wait for the family friends and their kids to come play on it. The instructions were a little confusing at times, so take your time when you're building it and have a table set out with everything on it. Everything is labeled. Well worth the money. Just time consuming to build. ... show more

  • Amazing Company!
Honestly never had a company this great to work with. We laid out a huge tarp and organized all the boards. One board had a big split so we called the company and a new board arrived in less than 24 hours!! Following assembly was easy. Took 2 of us just under 8 hours not including a break for lunch (and me honestly not doing a lot). This is also with toddler “helping”. While he picked one kid up from school I organized hardware pieces by steps I put it in little plastic cups and numbered them. After that we breezed thru the remainder. Looks great, feel solid, and kids love it. Our yard was not super level but we figured out where we needed to level exactly while building it and did it as we went. Only real problem is now the three year old refuses to go inside for a nap!! I do plan to seal the wood at some point but right now it’s beautiful. ... show more

  • Good investment
All the pieces and the instructions are VERY intimidating! It also says it takes a team of 2 about 8 hours - my husband and I knocked it out in about 5. I organized the pieces and hardware and handed him things as needed. I’ll make a short pro/con list from my point of view. But overall I think it was a smart purchase and will be used for years to come! Pro - Very sturdy Easy to follow instructions Con- The drill bit that came with it broke within the first 2 steps. A lot of the pieces were banged up on the sides. The hardware was labeled with part #s but the instructions referenced them by size not part number so that was confusing. ... show more
