I get a lot of tension in my back, shoulders, and neck, so I got this to try to alleviate that. I liked that it is small and could be moved around to target specific areas. I could do that with larger massagers, but it's not as convenient due to the size. This is relatively small and very lightweight. Previous items I have owned that were similar were much larger and very heavy. It comes with plugs for both a regular wall socket and for the cigarette lighter style sockets in cars. A nice touch in case I want a massage on the go! I like that both plugs can separate from the massager itself, making it less likely for it to be damaged by the cord being pulled on. As for its actual function. It works very well. By default, it will run for a set amount of time and alternate massage directions every so often. It does not get super warm, but warm enough to help alleviate tension. I found that by the time it shut off, my back was feeling much less tense. The controls were intuitive and it was easy to use while sitting at my desk doing work. It is not terribly noisy, either, so it isn't distracting or loud. Due to the more compact size, it is also easier to store and keep out of the way when not in use. The price is not bad, either. I think it's pretty reasonable for an item of this type, especially given that it works well, is lightweight, and comes with multiple charging options. ... show more

The heat feels really good when my muscles are sore. The remote control is easy to use and convenient. The one super plus as far as I am concerned is the fact that you can plug it in. So many of the newer products do not come with an AC power adapter. This one also comes with a car adapter as well. Currently this is currently priced at $39.99, and a $10.00 coupon is offered. This device is surprisingly successful. My partner thinks this feels like a powerful masseuse! You can vary the intensity with the “intensity” button, which seems to change the speed of the massage, and also by how hard you lean against it. Depending on where you want massage and how you place it, the massage can be very successful. We have tried it on neck, shoulders, lower back, upper back, hip, quads, and calves. Using it on the sides of the hip took some positioning on the chair, but once I figured out how to do it, it worked well.
 What’s nice about this device is that it is easy to position and for it to remain in that position. There is a strap on the back to, let’s say, attach it to a chair back. But what makes it stay in place is really body weight—because it is elongated. the thinner portion helps anchor the massager. While it can be very effective, it is not an actual masseuse, so the movements of the ‘fingers’ are repetitive and not tailored to someone’s particular body.
 We have other massage devices that work well, such as a massage gun and various trigger point tools. But the great thing about this machine is that once you get it in the right spot, you can be very lazy and let it do the work. We are very happy with this shiatsu massager. ... show more

This Brelley Back and Neck Massager does the job! I have been working out more and it's really helped with my recovery. I have purchased many massage guns in the past but this feels so much better; for my lower back, and hamstrings. I love it! The controls are simple and very easy to install. I love how I can move it around to get into various muscles. It comes with a auxiliary power outlet (cigarette/DC outlet), but I have not tried using that. The downside are the straps to secure to the back is too short. They do absolutely nothing for any of the chairs I own. I prefer to lay the unit down on my couch and lay on top of it. It is intense, as my weight pushes against the rollers. I weight 150 lbs, so I can see if it's not ideal for some. If you're not laying on it, you would have to prop it against the chair/couch upright. I had a friend who tried it and he thinks it's great - especially for the price. He usually purchases more expensive brand name and he said it does about 80%. ... show more

I have back and neck pains that keep me up at night. I came across this and thought I'd give it a shot - I'm glad that I did! Easy to use, small in size and HELPFUL - I have to give it 5 stars. You can change the direction of the way the massaging heads rotate, the intensity and apply heat! You can use it on your upper/lower back, neck, shoulders, neck - basically all over your body. I could literally fall asleep while using this thing it's so soothing. What impresses me even more is the fact that a car charger is included with this massager so you can use it your car! I can rave enough about this massager - portable, useful and affordable, this is better than massagers that I've ordered which cost 2x or more than this device!
