I needed something to somewhat baby-proof our fireplace, and these locks did the trick. They’re super simple to take on and off (for an adult,) so it’s not a pain when we actually want to use our fireplace. They are just the perfect size to fit in between the door handles. They’re great quality with thick plastic, and the locking piece has buttons on either side that are easy to push in. Once attached, you can cinch the piece upward to achieve the proper fit. Even pulling relatively hard on the doors, the lock stays and the plastic doesn’t break. I plan on using the rest of the locks on our bathroom cabinets, too! ... show more

I have this same product from name brands and this is the same quality but cheaper price! Almost indistinguishable between the two. Very durable, easy to use, and fit many different tiny knobs and handles that I have in my home.

    • Baby Cabinet Locks with Surface Peeling Off, Completely Unreliable!

I purchased this baby cabinet lock and was extremely disappointed. Firstly, the installation was very difficult, and it was hard to adjust to the right size. Moreover, in less than a week of use, the surface of the lock started peeling off, showing how unreliable it is! I was worried that my child might accidentally ingest the plastic pieces that were falling off, so I had to remove them all immediately. In conclusion, this product is of very poor quality and definitely not worth buying. I hope other parents don't make the same mistake as I did and choose more reliable baby safety products. ... show more
