I have only been wearing it for about 2 weeks now, but it feels sturdy, the material feels like quality, the color is good! One of the things I like most about these belts are the ratchet tightening / loosening system which isn’t traditional at all. I believe this will last much longer than my other belts, but we will see! Because the mechanism isn’t traditional, the fit isn’t either. They give you a belt and mark off where the different belt lengths are and include a booklet on how to adjust the fit to fit you. You put the belt buckle on yourself, which is nice because if I want a new belt but love the buckle, I can change it out. Overall product seems great although the decision is out for the moment!! As with most belts it is over time that wear and tear occurs. They are supposed to be leather and the design of the belt allows for the “gripping” mechanism to be advanced…..while this has not been required as yet , it is with the change of gripper placement that the previous belts failed. I’m allergic to nickel and it’s very hard to find a pair of belts that work well for me. It wasn’t stated that this was a nickel free belt, but I wanted to take my chances and I’ve had it for almost 2 months now and no breaking out on the skin so worth the money.
