    • The perfect toddler pillow!
I was in search of decent pillow for my almost three year old son. I first offered him one at around age two, but he didn't have an interest in using one until maybe two and a half. First we bought a toddler pillow that turned out to be too thick and he wouldn't use it, so instead he was using an old adult sized pillow that was flattened out. That worked okay, but seemed so big for him and I thought surely there had to be something sized for a toddler, both length/width wise, and thickness. Amazon is my go-to place for just about everything, so I checked here and came across this pillow from A Little Pillow Company. At first I thought it was little expensive for a small pillow, but then I saw that it was made in the USA and I'm always willing to pay more for something made here, especially if the rating and reviews are also great, as was the case with this pillow. I also checked out their website and read about how they fill their pillows with a top of the line material, and they're machine washable which is a must with a toddler! So, I went ahead and ordered this along with a pillowcase from the same company (I picked the owl design) and I'm thrilled with it! The quality is great and the size and thickness are absolutely perfect for a toddler. Most importantly, my son loves it and uses it every night! He looks so comfortable sleeping on it! He also uses it as a back pillow when sitting on the couch if we're watching a movie or reading. This is a fantastic pillow for our two year old son and he loves it so much. It is the perfect size for him and it is very comfortable and hypoallergenic, which is important to us due to his having eczema. We also purchased a pillowcase with a cloud motif from "A Little Pillow Company" and it is quite a soft, plush feel and fits his room perfectly with an airplane ceiling fan and all. Both products seem well made; stitching is tight and the material quality is good. We'll see how they hold up, as they are still quite new. I very much like the fact that this is a U.S. produced product from what appears to be a small, family owned and operated company that cares about what they put out there (on the market). I was also contacted (through Amazon Marketplace) by Heather McCoy, the owner, and I have to say that it is incredible in this day and age to get any kind of a follow up like this in regards to a purchase or a service rendered. Throughout the email one could tell that she truly cares about her company and the products that it makes. I like this and for that I would not hesitate to buy an item from Ms. McCoy and her company in the future (Ms. McCoy; I have saved your company website to my favorites list and I am impressed that you personally reached out to an individual customer with a not so big order).     • Goldilocks would say this pillow is "just right"!
We bought this for our one year old daughter after noticing she was balling her blanket up under her head in her crib at night. I searched 3 different stores and couldn't find a toddler pillow in any store! So I looked to the internet, and finally settled on finding a toddler pillow on amazon, as they had many choices. I read every review and after much thought, settled on my little pillow company. The pillow is very soft, not firm, which is great because her head sinks in and the pillow molds nicely to her neck and head. It has just enough support for a first pillow, as not to cause cramps in her neck from starting with a pillow that's too firm. Its also just right in the sense that her head doesn't sink in so much that we have to worry. I havent washed it yet, but will update my review when i do. I bought a set of pillowcases from amazon as well that are 15×19 and they fit nicely. The pillow itself is 13×19. My daughter loves that shes a big girl now with a pillow like mommy and daddy. It also fits nicely on her little couch, for a little extra padding to sit back on. She is happy and so are mommy and daddy. ... show more

    • Baby And Great-Grandma Love Their Pillows
This has turned out to be the perfect little pillow for two family members. It's an ideal transitional pillow for our 16 month old grandson, who's not quite ready for anything bigger. I like it for his use because the pillow is not too lofty, adds cozy support and is just the right size for cribs and playards. Pillowcases can be bought separately from A Little Pillow Company's website, but I chose to purchase inexpensive, but very nice handmade flannel and super soft ones through Ebay and Etsy. This pillow measures 13 x 18 inches--14 x 20 inch pillowcases fit perfectly. The ones I bought from Etsy open envelope-style, so the pillowcases don't come off no matter how much baby tosses and turns. My mother-in-law, who goes to dialysis, also loves this pillow. It sure makes sitting in a chair for a long three hours more comfortable. She likes the pillow because it is softer and slightly bigger than traditional travel ones. My 22-month old son loves his pillow. We've had it for about a month now and it seems like it will continue to hold up great. Washing is just gentle cycle and drying is on low heat so no drama there. I bought it to help with the transition from crib to toddler bed and made a big deal about it when it came in the mail. It's easily his favorite item in the bed now. It's a great size, so he can either rest his head on it or, some nights, he cuddles with it like a stuffed toy. I ordered the black and white sheep print and it's very cute - each of the sheep are looking in a different direction which is fun to point out with him and guess what they're "looking" at. It was definitely worth the expense instead of going with just a pillow we already had in my opinion. ... show more
