These work great. I had a larger red set that finally disintegrated after 4 years of heavy use for a multitude of projects. For chicks I add a baby pool, 36" for this size and its easy to take it out and rinse it. Ignore the negative comments these things are great IMO.

WHAT A SAVING GRACE!!! let me tell you how crazy baby chickens are… they will go wild if you let them, i had them in a small baby swimming pool till about 2 weeks they started to venture outside of the pool and pooped ALL OVER MY KITCHEN!! what a headache my boyfriend knew they could never happen again and we put them in a box and covers the box but i didn’t wanna do that to them i still wanted them to move around he found this product and he bought it as a surprise and we used it. AMAZING! they are too small to the point they can’t jump out! which is good. i was able to have peace and relax w them also being free as well! saved then and saved me a headache they can still be sheltered and free and you can also make it smaller when i have more baby chicks and they don’t need to be spaced out so much! gonna use this for years to come ... show more

    • Easy to clean.
This is the 2nd one I've purchased. Liked the first one so much, had to get a second one. Last year brooding season had two cardboard ones, and one of these. Cardboard ones basically ruined by the times chicks went to coop. This one held up great. Just needed to wipe down a bit and it's ready for this year. Takes a bit of time to put panels together (like little shower rings) but after that, it held up well to spilled water, chicks poop, and pecking. To store, just undo one set of rings and it accordion folds flat. Believe I'll get many years of use, rather the just one from cardboard one. ... show more

    • Easy to put together & works as intended
It works well for my little chicks. It only took me a few minutes to put together. They are starting to fly now though, so new containment coming up soon.
