I was looking for mini crib but ended up buying this bassinet. My husband assembled this in 15 min by himself. It works great, can be moved to different rooms and is perfect in size for a new born baby. It also rocks a little, and have storage at the bottom, definitely great features.

Once assembled, I really like this bassinet. It feels well made and the fabric is soft. Everything looks nice and tailored and it moves easily from room to room. I like the storage on the bottom and the hidden, easy-down side. However, I had some trouble assembling it, as some of the pictures are not entirely clear. The horizontal support bars that hold the storage basket arrive already slipped into the cover. Which is good in itself, but the instructions show them being attached one by one and never anything about the basket. It just suddenly appears in a following picture. Just threw me off a little becasue one of the bars that supports the bed itself, looks just like the ones in the picture of this step. But once I realized what was going on, it went together smoothly. Everything slips in and connects well and is mostly easy to take apart again. I had some trouble releasing one of the sides to take it apart, but with another person it goes fine. The sides also take a bit of trial and error when adjusting the height. You have to be sure to grip onto both the plastic side and the bed itself in order operate it properly. A couple of disappointing things - one of the snaps on the basket was SO tight, it ripped the fabric right off of the grommet when it was removed. The very first time. And there also appears to be two small cuts in the fabric on the inside of the part that lowers. It doesn't affect anything. Just sad. And as a last, unimportant note - what are the elastic loops for? The instructions don't say. The ones on the front are probably for holding the side bars when it's lowered? But what about the ones on the skirt? They seem to have no purpose. ... show more
