In the end it came down to customer service. I’d been reading the Snoo service was terrible, so I went with this bassinet based on reviews and the fact I could return it without paying crazy fees and dealing with a big hassle. I’m definitely NOT returning this. Love the adjustable height. I have it up to the max height for my husband and although the manual says not to, I have it clicked one setting lower on one side for my baby that has reflux. The rocking is gentle but effective. My 7 week old has been using this since 4 weeks and he sleeps almost 12 hours. I have to wake him up to eat and change diapers. He’s really comfortable. I put him in drowsy but not asleep and use the rocking function for about 5 minutes until he’s asleep and then turn it off. I ordered the vavasoo mattress cover and sheets. The cover isn’t necessary because the mattress is waterproof but it does add some comfort/padding and fits like a glove. The sheets are essential and fit perfectly. We swaddle him with a muslin blanket or Velcro swaddle inside and he seems to love that. I also like that you can have it as a standalone bassinet or strap it to the bed. The wheels make it easy to move room to room if needed. I spilled a little liquid vitamin on the side and it wiped up nicely considering how bad that stuff stains. Yes, the music sucks as other reviews state. We have our own sound machine anyway. The only button I push on the remote is rock and power to turn it off. This bassinet was a great, random find. I’m so glad I didn’t get a Snoo - this has every feature I wanted and more, looks great, is sturdy and I feel comfortable knowing if I have a problem I can contact the mfr or Amazon easily. I bought this product for my first baby last year and now my second baby is enjoying this great crib. I highly recommend it for the below reasons - 1. High Quality: The product boasts excellent quality. It offers adjustable height, music, volume control, and gentle rocking motion. Unlike other products with excessive rocking ranges that might pose a danger to children, this one is designed with a safe and controlled rocking amplitude. It also has wheels, making it easy to move around. This allows us to easily bring the child close to us during the day when we are working or cooking, aside from keeping the child peacefully asleep at night. 2. Cost-Effective: It provides great value for money, especially when compared to similar products in the market with high price even for renting. The price is moderate and acceptable, making it a cost-effective choice. 3. Outstanding Customer Service: I purchased this product a year ago for my 1st baby who really enjoyed it. This year my dog chewed through the power cord when I was about to use it for my 2nd baby. I contacted customer support team through Amazon, and then received a prompt, courteous, and professional response. They quickly shipped a replacement power cord to me free of charge. Even when I informed them that I hadn't received the package due to postal issues, they promptly apologized and sent another set of power cords. Now, my second baby can fully enjoy this product. Honestly I have not used my crib since I had my baby. This bassinet is easy to roll around the house and my baby sleeps so well in it. It’s a little pricier but I think it’s worth it. The size is perfect for near your bed and the sleep pad is pretty comfortable and not too thick where it’s a sleep hazard. The swinging motion is also great not too fast or not too slow. The music can be on or off which I really like it also has a white noise if you wanted that instead of the nursery jingles. The little storage at the bottom is something I use a lot. I have a newborn so I did add my own mobile because the one it comes with my baby isn’t interested in yet because she sees in black and white but I’m sure she will like it as she gets older. ... show more

My husband and I swear it has baby motion sensors to activate white noise when baby stirs in the middle of the night – we never have to get up, until baby wakes for a feeding. The music and rocking features are the MVP! Totally worth the cost.

UPDATE- The seller reached out to me and offered a full refund, not only that they shipped a new motor to me in 2 days which works perfectly and the jerky movement is gone!!! Just in time for my baby. I am so so happy with the customer service FIVE STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I was very excited about this product when I ordered it but unfortunately severely disappointed After the set up when we turned it on the rocking movement is jerky and not smooth at all This beats the whole purpose of comforting a new born.     • Creaks, thin flimsy pad for mattress

1) the mattress - trash. We used the one from our old bassinet and threw this one away. 2) it is very very creaky. 10lb baby moves in it, and it creaks, waking the baby up. It creaks while it rocks, making it impossible to fall asleep for you if the bassinet is by your bed.

The sounds rotate through a playlist and keep changing, we didn’t like that at all. You can’t just choose one song, and my baby wakes up when it stops moving after 45 min. My baby does like the motion and it did help with sleep although you have to wake up or remember to re turn it on every 45 min (Or less sometimes) ... show more

This bassinet is just what I was looking for. Most bassinets rock in the top to bottom direction. This one was the only one I found that rocks side to side. Soothing motion with basic high low function(could barely tell the difference). I like that height adjustment and how large the bed is. Material is great and wheels are practical. Only thing I wish was different was the music. It’s so out of tine I never turn it on. Other than that I def recommend! ... show more
