This bassinet is a game changer. It clips to the bed so it won't slide anywhere. It's so much more convenient to have that way we can see him 24/7 to make sure he's okay and when he cries all I have to do is pick him up, feed him, and put him back down without getting out of bed. I had another bassinet before, but we didn't like it because we couldn't fully see him at night or during naps. This is definitely not for a newborn my newborn fell out when he was 2 weeks old due to the bed moving on him when he rolled. So I don’t recommend having the bedside open at that time

This bassinet is really good quality and looks very nice sitting in a room, not cheap or poor quality looking. The colors are bright, vibrant and clean. Assembly was thankfully really simple and I have no problems with safety as it is very stable! I do wish it had a travel/storage bag for taking on trips, or storing between kids, but that is managable. Compared to others I have used, the bed area is a little more shallow than I personally like, but it can still be used for many months before worrying. It does have the one side that can come down for co-sleeping at a bed, which is where I took off 1 star. The zippers for lowering the side are plastic of all things. They bend very easily and I believe they will snap off after a few times pulling them. If you don't need the co-sleeping function, then this bassinet is great! If that will be a frequently used function, be prepared to find a new zipper pull soon. I am very pleased with this bassinet! ... show more
