This bassinet is very nice, it has extra features that are really a bonus. I first of all like that it can be moved from room to room, and has a storage area shelf underneath so you can pile on the diapers and wipes and other little things and not carry those extra when going to a different location. This bassinet can be switched from rock to lock and does a side to side motion. One thing that is really helpful is the side that lowers down, because for example grandparent's can sit this in front of the couch and see the baby and not have to stand up to lift them in and out. If you have a higher bed, I would leave the side up next to a bed because I personally feel like it's safer to have that barrier between baby and the mattress or blankets from your own bed. Overall this is a good quality, nice looking, comfortable and convenient bassinet. At the time of this review there are 2 different colors and prices available and around $180 & $205 I believe, and there's a $50 coupon. I really think that it would also make a great gift, but without a coupon, the price seems high to me for an item intended to be used only a few months. I won't dock a star for that though because that's the reality with everything these days, which puts it on pat with all its competitors. So far it seems to be very good quality and I do recommend it, and I will update this review if anything changes after some time of use. I hope this info has been helpful. ... show more

I love the higher sides on this bassinet, as I can feel comfortable with the baby in it all the way up until he can sit up. It was easy to assemble with the snap together parts and feels very secure. The height is simple to adjust, and the rocking feature is nice for one handed soothing of the baby in the middle of the night. The mesh sides prevent suffocation risk and make it easy to look over at the baby. One feature I wish was omitted was the drop down side. I won't be using this since I can easily reach over the side to lift him out, and putting it down actually seems like more of a hassle. It also seems more dangerous to have one of the sides so low, just in case the bassinet were to move away from the side of the bed. Another solid rim and mesh side would have been better. Also, the matress seems a bit thin to me, but it will probably be fine since it's being used by such small, lightweight babies. The extra storage area underneath adds convenience, but the sides could have been a little taller on this part to hold more. I like the neutral gray fabric, as it looks good in our room and suits either gender well. ... show more

the bassinet is very nice, it rocks, rolls, has side window. it looks great and feel sturdy. the liner is soft and you can adjust the height of the bassinet. it even allows you to tilt it. at the bottom is a storage are where you can put diapers bottles or blankets anything you would need quickly. building it was took a fair amount of time, but was worth it. ... show more

This bassinet is great for not only the baby, but connivence of the parents, too. It wasn't difficult to put together, just some pieces that snapped into one another. The color is great and neutral and will match any room. I love that the sides are mesh, it gives me peace of mind when my baby rolls into them; I know he can still breathe. Assembly was fairly quick with only one re-do section. These are translates instructions I think. Once assembled, the height is easy to adjust up and down. I love how it can be placed in a slant easily to prevent reflux after feeding the baby. The side unclamps and can be folded down but honestly we don't ever have to use that feature because I can clearly see through the mesh siding and close enough to the bed that it makes it easy to access.
