The bassinet was super easy to assemble, no tools are required; all of the poles just snap together, all you do is slip the two end poles into each side of the bedding then zip it up, put the legs in the bottom and you’re done! I had it put together in less than 10 minutes the zipper was a bit finicky on one side but I got it. It’s also super lightweight which I love and I know I’ll be able to move it from room to room when recovering from my c section. Material is strong and very well made and seems easy to clean, to me it looks machine washable as the feel is relative to a book bag. Packaging was great, the pieces were inside a carrying bag that it comes with for free, height is right at bedside level, only thing I expected to be different is that the “mattress” is more like a pillow it’s very very soft and it velcros into the bottom of the bassinet to hold it in place. As you can see I did put a small bassinet sheet over it but it’s way too big but I’ll probably take it off once my daughter is here and starts sleeping in it even though it seems okay for babies who can’t roll over yet. I did attach a photo with a regular sized boppy to show an idea of how big it is especially compared to regular bassinet sheets that won’t really fit. But overall if you want a simple bassinet that won’t break the bank or something small to put next to your bed or even travel with I highly recommend this product, I love it and can’t wait to use it here very soon! ... show more

This travel bassinet is pretty nice. It was easy to put together and seems sturdy enough. Here’s my pros and cons: Pros: Easy to put together Decently priced Perfect size for a tight bedroom Comes with travel case Cons: Could be more sturdy Mattress is super thin and kind of small Wood support has weird overlap in middle I ended up buying another mattress for the bassinet (the Pro Goleem one) based on other reviews that mentioned how thin the mattress was it comes with. It’s a tight fit but I like it better than the one it comes with (plus it can easily be stored with the rest of the bassinet if needed). This bassinet worked well in a pinch, however, the velcro is located in only 4 spots, leaving large pockets of fabric from the mattress that could be lifted. In my opinion, this creates a risk of SIDS and suffocation and didn’t allow me to relax while my baby slept.
