Description

With a light intensity reduction of ten f-stops, this B+W Neutral Density Filter has a slightly stronger warm tone than the ND 106. Its principal field of application is the observation and documentation of industrial processes with extreme brightness, such as steel furnaces, incinerators, glowing filaments in halogen- and other bulbs. The filter factor is 1000x.

I love this filter. It fits my 300 mm zoom lens Sigma 70-300mm F/4-5.6 DG OS SLD Super Multi-Layer Coated Telephoto Lens for Nikon Auto Focus Mount Digital SLR Cameras I bought this for the great north american solar eclipse. This thing works very well. In direct sunlight I can get a 1 to 2 second exposure. Build quality is amazing and it is pretty easy to clean. B+W makes the best filters of the highest quality. This is a HUGE step up from the cheap filters I had been using. As soon as you pull it out of the carrying case, you can tell it's high quality. It's really heavy, compared to cheap filters. Would highly recommend this product. B+W quality is in a league of its own. I have bought other neutral density filters before of cheaper quality and you can really tell the difference it makes.
