  • These should be in your cart already.
I very recently dove into photography as a hobby, to replace my last one which involved a controller and a television. This is going to be much more fun. I wanted to ease into it with some basic stuff like a tripod, etc and while looking for a lens hood, I came across this gem in a rock pile. At this price point (and with no experience) I didn't expect a whole lot. I certainly didn't expect what I got. The UV, CPL and FLD filters come in a lightweight nylon pouch which doesn't seem to be very durable, at first glance. It's the one in the picture stamped "Vivitar". It has four mesh pockets for the filters meaning there's also room to keep the literature that came with them in one of the pockets. The mesh on the pockets are made of stiff nylon that just screams "Scratch!!" Not to put too fine of a point on it but the case kind of sucks. Which is why I just now (seriously! A couple of minutes ago...) ordered this one: https://www.amazon.com/Altura-Photo-Circular-MagicFiber-Microfiber/dp/B0083WYFWG/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1500593594&sr=1-1&keywords=altura+filter+case I chose it as a replacement because it's almost the same (different coloration) as the pouch from this kit that holds the macro lenses. More in a moment. The filters are of good quality manufacture and I've been using them as I learn my way around the camera. I've certainly seen differences in my pictures and feel like with just the little things like this, I might even get good at the taking of the pictures. Onward! The macro lenses, the ND filters and the pouches (NO! Let us not forget about the pouches!!) are made by Altura Photo, also of very good material and manufacture. I haven't had the opportunity to get out and about to run these through their paces but at home and in horrible lighting I can already see how these are going to help me get a little closer to realizing the capability of my camera. I mean, seriously, when I wanted to get up close and personal with the tiniest little dew drop before I got these I was like "That's it? That's the best I can do?". With the macro lenses, however, I get not only the dew drop but what's floating around in the dew drop. And I'm new at this! Of course you get the lens hoods, one full coverage collapsable with two positions and one hard plastic tulip shaped one with a locking ring threaded onto it. The lens cap tether is a nice touch and the 4" x 4" micro fiber cloth is just... well... expected. You oughta get one with everything. Duct tape? Micro fiber cloth. Crock Pot? Micro fiber cloth. Micro fiber cloth? Uh... yeah... take two... Finally, there's this fixation I have with the pouches. There's a reason for it. There's the fact that they are just SO nice. The exterior is a much heavier duty textured nylon with really good padding while the inside pockets are a much softer, flexible mesh. And they're purple inside. Purple. Yeah, I think they're pretty... so? Anyway, the practical point to consider is that if they put that kind of care into making the pouch, then how much more care did they put into the filters and lenses that they put *inside* of the pouches. Hmm? Ok, so enough about the pouches. Here they are, Altura and Digital Goja. Quality and satisfaction from "Proceed to checkout" to using in the field. Guaranteed, just like it says in the description. Oh, one more thing... Pouches! HA! Lied. (Check out Digital Goja's YT channel, too!) ... show more

  • 58MM Complete Lens Gilter Accessory Kit for DSL cameras.
I use a Canon EOS 100D Rebel SL1. Everything was in the package and all works great with my camera. It came in perfect condition and was packaged very well to protect the contents. I have tried the close up filters and they work fine and I like the pouches they come in to protect them. The Tulip and collapsible lens hoods fit fine. This kit has a lot of nice items in it. Only drawback is when using macro filters you must use manual setting on the camera and not the auto lens feature. I did not find this to be a problem for me at all. The package contains:58MM Complete Lens Filter Accessory Kit for CANON EOS Rebel T5i T4i T3i T3 T2i T1i DSLR Camera - Includes: Vivitar Filter Kit (UV, CPL, FLD) + Vivitar Macro Close Up Set (+1, +2, +4, +10) + Altura Photo ND Neutral Density Filter Set (ND2, ND4, ND8) + Carry Pouch + Tulip Lens Hood + Collapsible Lens Hood + Snap-On Front Lens Cap + Cap Keeper Leash + MagicFiber Microfiber Lens Cleaning Cloth. Very good buy for the average photographer. A pro might want to spend more. ... show more

  • Nice complete set for beginners
This has all your filters you will need for your canon kit lens which is likely 58mm thread size. The quality is... okay. Its not great if you are going to get serious you probably need to be getting a better UV filter than the one included here. Hoya or even Tiffen are good choices than can be inexpensive. When it comes to other filter sizes you can use these on other lens all you need is a step up ring set. If you are serious about photography and not just testing the waters to see what you like obviously go with a more expensive set. ... show more

  • WONDERFUL!
In giving all stars across the board. For someone like me who is on a budget, affordable lens accessories is a must. They work just as well and I have no complaints! No scratches or dinks and everything is very sturdy (which i found surprising for the price) .The collapsible hood is a wonderful tool that i hope to utilize more. The uv,cpl, and fld are excellent and i KNOW for a fact that those are going to be used the most. Im excited to take this out and use it to the utmost extent! So bottom line. Affordable and wonderful. And the best part, excellent quality without burning a hole in your pocket! PS. If you have no camera knowledge, make sure you look up and do a little bit of research on what each item will do for you! ... show more

  • Thin, be careful in handling. Includes pouches. Various filters, good selection.
This is a great filter set for the price. The filters are thin, so harder to handle, but I think they're acceptable. Be careful in handling multiple times to insure you don't have finger and thumb prints on the filters cases. The 10 filters come in 3 pouches, one labeled ''Vivitar series 1'', the other two ''Allura''. They are: 1- UV (Ultraviolet Filter) or Sky filter, 2- CPL (Circular Polarizing Filter), 3- FLD (Florescent Filter), 4x Macro lenses +1, +2, +4, +10 and are threaded on both sides to enable multiple filter addition. +1, and +4 filters will give you a +5 macro filter, etc. The other 3x are 8- ND2, 9- ND4, 10- ND8. All are labeled, mine are 58mm and fit the 55mm lenses I have. Note the NDs and FLD are dark, so you must add to aperture or time the lens is open. Great set. Good buy. ... show more
