  • Did exactly what I hoping it would do!
Size: 77mm Style: Filter
When looking into using the Pro-Mist filters, I wasn't sure which to get. After doing some research I was able to determind that 1/4 was the sweet spot needed to bloom out highlights and soften features without losing details and sharpness. I love what the filter does to LED lights! It gives ambient lighting in low light situations and bit of a flare that really adds to an otherwise normal location shoot. For portrait photos in the daylight, it also helps to soften features without sacrificing sharpness and thus not needing to put as much time during post processing. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • Great filter with some occasional reflections
Size: 52mm Style: Filter
I use this filter with a Canon AE-1 Program, and it works as intended. For a bit less than a Moment Cinebloom filter that I use on my Mamiya RB67, it gets the job done. The only complaint I'd have is with occasional reflections between the filter and front lens element when the light hits at a certain angle. This has never happened once with my Cinebloom Filter. Attached are 3 images shot on film from the same roll on the same night. First two look as intended, but the third photo highlights the reflections. That being said, I was able to use Lightroom Generative AI removal brush to correct it. Still 5/5, would recommend. Pros: - Effectiveness - Price to Performance Cons: - Occasional Reflections ... show more

  • Adds some great character
Size: 82mm Style: Filter
It really adds that little bit of dreamy effect to your images. It bloom the highlights well but doesn’t touch on the shadows much and maintains good contrast in your image overall. I’ve been using this a lot for videography and filmmaking recently, and it’s a nice addition in the right situations.

  • Best value mist filter
Size: 67mm Style: Filter
Good consistency from tiffen as a company with accurate fit, durable threads and glass, clear and rarely fog or scratch. Mist filter works in low light morning shots or bright shots with the sun in frame.

  • Decent glass but the rest could be improved on
Size: 72mm Style: Filter
The glass on the filter is good and the effect from it is great. The filming goal was achieved with this so it can still have 4 stars but the build quality of it is fairly bad. When i first went to wipe the filter off i noticed the glass shifting back and forth. The glass isn't even tight in the ring and shifts around. Things like that are usually a sign you bought a total piece of junk. Not even my 10 dollar Amazon polarizer does that. The packaging itself is also so terrible too. My other filters, including the cheap amazon one came with nice filter containers that store and protect them perfectly. This packaging is super janky and the filter freely slides around back and forth in it with a tiny little cheap piece of factory foam they cut off and stuck in there with it. So basically these filters don't have a storage container they come with. The original container can be used but seriously? Do better Tiffen, these are expensive filters. When a single little piece of glass costs 70 bucks all the details should be right. ... show more

  • It pretty much stays on my camera
Size: 72mm Style: Filter
The media could not be loaded. Bought this for my Sigma 18-35mm on BlackMagic 6k Pro. Perfect companion. I haven't taken it off yet
