We purchased this unit after bring flooded from tropical storm debbie. It came and we were excited to get our home back dry. Turn on the unit and it did nothing. Saw that it was suppose to come with a handle. Nothing in the box. Emailed and emailed the company. No response. AMAZON sent another unit out. This one came. NO FREAKING HANDLE AGAIN. Turn it on and it immediately started working. Got humidity down over the course of a day from 81% to 48%. Life was good for 2 weeks and then it stopped working. Had a weird smell and has not turned back on. Started amazon return and went to HD to purchase a smaller one. I have been running the B-Air in my basement shop for about 2 weeks. It easily brought the humidity from 78% down to 55%. It would never get below 55%. That may be because of conditions beyond the machines capabilities. The only negative is the switching. It is electronic. If the power goes off you have to manually restart the machine when the power comes back on ... show more

I like this dehumidifier very much. I bought it for my Grooming shop which is very damp and smells like-well- like a wet dog when you walk in. Ever since I bought this item it doesn’t smell like that anymore. It’s great! I drain it into a 5 gallon bucket and it’s usually half full when I come in in the morning. The bottom pump falls out looks like a broken screw but it’s not fixable. Tried calling b-air multiple time and let messages haven’t returned any phone call or messages in over a week. It will cost so much to return this time. Do not buy from this company!
