This peel is pretty sturdy and easy to clean. The only thing I wish was a little better is the slant. If it was a little more gradual then it may slide under the pizza and off the stone easier. It just takes a little maneuvering.

THIS is a perfect blend of art and function. It hangs proudly in my kitchen, adding a warm flair to the décor. I dust the peel in corn meal, place the dough on it, make the pizza, and slide it off onto the pizza stone in my oven. Because I like to live dangerously, I make pizzas that are the same size as the stone and the peel’s smooth surface and thin edge make placing the pizza on the stone a snap. Removing the pizza is even easier. The peel wipes clean easily with a soft cloth. I would NOT recommend cutting the pizza on the peel in order to maintain the peel’s smooth, clean surface. ... show more

I ordered this pizza peel to accommodate a 16 inch pizza. I just received it and found that it was only 14 inches wide. The quality is very good, but I'll be sending it back since I already have a 14 inch peel.

I was looking for something that wasn't too expensive, but would look great and do the trick! This pizza peel is perfect for my Kamado Joe Doughjoe attachment because the handle isn't super long. I use this wood one to put the pizza on and then I have a longer handled steel one to take the pizza off. ... show more

We started making pizzas on our Kamado Joe and had a hard time making the transfer from the cutting board to the grill. Our pizza would fold over or stick. This pizza peel did the trick! We have made some great tasting AND looking pizzas with this peel.
