I got the Ayotu Case for my Remarkable 2 tablet about 2 months ago, and it's been awesome. The case is super thin and light, so it doesn't make my tablet bulky or heavy. It's tough, too, which means I don't worry about dropping it or getting it scratched up. The case feels really nice to hold because of the fabric on it. It's soft but also makes sure I don't drop my tablet because I can grip it well. Plus, the color of the case is really bright and looks great, making my tablet look cool. Remarkable 2 is white and gray tablet, matching the case color. See the photos. What I really love about this case are the magnets in it. They snap the case right onto my tablet and keep it closed tight when I'm not using it. I don't have to mess around trying to keep it shut, which is super handy. All in all, this case is great. It's not just about keeping my tablet safe; it also makes it look good and is easy to use. I'd definitely give it five stars! Oh, and the price compared to case from remarkable, say no more!! ... show more

I'm updating my review. I have this case for a while now and it has held up very very well. And it's very nice how thin it is because when folded open you don't hardly notice it's there, except that it provides a very nice grip then no case at all. again, my only complaint is how the covers close together so tightly (which is good) but it's too hard to pry them apart. Probably not a big deal for those with longer finger nails. I wish they would add a tab to grab on to. And, I do wish there was a more secure pen holder. The pen can easily get knocked off and it's rather anxiety inducing when you can't find your pen because your device is now useless This is a nice case. Fits well. Sturdy and protective yet minimal in size. The cover folds back nicely when in use and doesn't interfere. yes, the pen sticks out and thus can get knocked off pretty easily, and sometimes the case can be a little too challenging to open because there isn't much lip to grab on to...but i feel like if the lip was big enough to protect the pen then that would be more annoying. for the price - it's great. ps...i love my remarkable ... show more

This is very nice and will protect the reMarkable nicely. The one thing that I wish it did better (and I don't think any of the covers do this) is also protect the pencil from being bumped off. I have the stock reMarkable cover and it also doesn't cover the pencil I find myself grabbing the unit to carry it and the pencil will come lose and sometimes I drop it. The only other thing that is more annoying is the magnets. When you open the cover and fold it back, the front will stick to the back quite tightly. What I find happening is that when I want to close it, I end up disconnecting the reMarkable from the cover by accident. I just have to get used to that... I do like having a nice strong magnet though as it keeps things closed up nicely. ... show more

    • Magnet & the Divots for the Tablet Securely Holds the Device In Place

This is a really nice case. It's about double the price of other Remarkable 2 cases, but it's made very well and has a couple of features that the cheaper cases don't have. One of them is the long magnet that's located in the spine of the case that attaches to the magnet on the Remarkable 2 itself. I was surprised to see how well these magnets bind to each other, holding the Remarkable 2 securely in place inside the case. Another feature that assists the magnet in holding the Remarkable 2 securely inside the case, are the 4 divots located on the rear, inside of the case. These divots are made to accept the small rubber feet on the back of the Remarkable 2 which in addition to the magnet, helps to keep the tablet secure inside the case. The inside of the case is has a soft finish to help prevent the Remarkable 2 screen from being scratched. The outside of the case is textured. Really, the only thing missing from this case is a stylus/pen holder. However, I purchased one of these made for an Apple pen and attached it to this case and it's working out perfectly. IMO... this case is well worth the extra money. The cheaper cases do not have the magnet to hold the device in place. Most of them have an adhesive patch for this function. But eventually, the adhesive will likely dry up. ... show more

I am really impressed with the quality of this folio and how will it fits with my Remarkable 2. Normally with 3rd party products like this, you don't expect the fit to be perfect, but Ayotu has managed to do it with this one. The back and front covers are very solid and the texture of the canvas is perfect. Overall it feels sturdy and protects the Remarkable well. The Remarkable attaches with magnets, so it is effectively just like the factory folio but for a fraction of the price. Keep in mind that if you were to drop it, it would more than likely come out of the folio, but the factory folios that Remarkable sells have the same issue. The only improvement I would suggest is making one with a built-in pen loop for those that are not using a factory stylus with the built-in magnets. I solved this with an elastic pen holder that fits well and doesn't get in my way (see photo). If you are looking for an inexpensive but high-quality folio for your Remarkable, this is the one! ... show more
