This cover is made for camper awning replacement. But I had a free home mounted awning that had a destroyed cover. And for the price I figured give it a try. It worked very well. Camper awnings roll from the front and are stationary in the rear. The home mount one is the opposite. But it went in the groves in basically the same manner. So it operates just fine. After the two main holders are in the groves the front overhang slots in the same way the directions say for the camper roller. Over all it works great. And looks good. It seems well made. It's a you tube video for help , unless you've installed an awning before research you tube. The valance is a bit of a chore but you'll get it done. Speaking of the valance it's dam short and the exposed end is not hemmed or sewed . It's just a straight cut. Good luck on install . Priced at a four year of use I'm guessing. ... show more

The awning was good quality, very easy to install and fit perfectly. We had a delivery issue in the beginning but the seller was very quick to respond and resolved our issue very quickly. I would order again if I need to replace my awning again. I would recommend.

The awning material itself was in great shape. We didn't see any creases where the color had worn off like previous reviews mentioned. Installation did can be a bit tricky. The hardest portion was putting the cording into the slot of the metal awning to hold the valance portion in place. Once you put the material in, the hem of the fabric made the opening smaller and the plastic cording was to thick to slide it in easily. We had to taper the end of the cording to make it more like a pencil point, then it slid in much easier. We could then slide/push it through to the end. We haven't actually used the awning at this point but so far it's good. I would have no problem recommending this product, especially for the price. As for instructions, YouTube videos helped, but the awning wound in a different direction then the video noted. Also. the holes on the left side of our awning were not exactly as the video noted. We were able to figure it out on our own and finished it in less than a day. ... show more
