View larger Featuring an efficient manufacturing process for a cleaner environment An easy-to-understand range of products with attractive and descriptive packaging ensures selecting the correct wall mount is an easy task. Universal compatibility and the modular design of the products with an "Easy-Click" locking mechanism make installation as easy as 1-2-3.Attach the TV plate to your TV using the included hardwareScrew the wall plate to the wall (Wood Stud or Solid Concrete wall only - Do not mount onto Drywall alone)Attach the TV and wall plates together and "Easy-Click" into placeEnvironmental BenefitsAn efficient manufacturing process using common modular component parts for the range means Eco-mount uses fewer raw materials, produces less waste and, crucially, products are designed to fit in boxes that are 50% smaller than similar products available in stores. This has led to a reduction in packaging and transportation and, as a consequence, a reduction in CO2 emissions.Choosing the Right AVF Mount For YouFlat panel TVs are ideally suited to be wall mounted. Wall mounting your TV can create extra space and give a stylish uncluttered look to your room. The slim profile of flat-panel TVs means that they can be discreetly placed flat against a wall or they can be easily repositioned when mounted on a multi-position mount. VESA standards are the set distances of threaded screw holes on flat-panel TVs and monitors VESA SizeA further consideration when choosing a flat panel TV wall mount is whether your TV is VESA compatible, and if so, which VESA standard it is. VESA standards are set distances between threaded screw holes on the back of flat-panel TVs and monitors. All AVF flat panel mounts are VESA compliant and specify the maximum VESA standard they will fit. Many products also fit non-VESA-compliant monitors and TVs.TV SizeThe size of mount to choose is dependent on the screen size of your TV. AVF has flat panel mounts in four categories: Small, Medium, Large, and Extra Large. Overlap exists between size categories as some mounts are compatible with a wide range of screen sizes.TV WeightAnother important consideration is the weight of your TV. AVF mounts are subject to rigorous weight testing; however, you should not exceed the weight limit indicated on products. Rigorous internal quality procedures at the design and manufacture stages are also supplemented by independent third party testing leading to quality and safety accreditations. AVF products are UL listed after being tested to hold four times the weight recommended for each product.TV Room PositionThe distance between you and your TV and the height you place your TV is usually based on personal preference. If you sit too close, lower-quality signals may appear pixelated, and if you sit too far away you may not see the high quality detail in HD or DVD images. Where you intend to place your TV will also have a direct influence on the type of wall mount best suited to your needs.Flat to wall: If your aim is to achieve a discreet appearance, a flat to wall mount may be ideal for your room. Flat to wall mounts are designed with a slim profile to enable you to position your TV flush to the wall.Tilt: Wall mounts with a tilt function enable you to place your TV in a higher position as they provide the opportunity to tilt your screen downwards for optimal viewing. Tilting capabilities can also help remedy situations where light is glaring off your screen.Multi-position: Multi-position mounts are ideal for positioning your TV into a corner or where you would like a wide range of viewing angles, giving you the ability to view your TV from multiple rooms, such as the living room and kitchen, for example. They are the most flexible mounts available and allow you to fold out your TV on one or more arms and multiple pivot points to give a maximum range of viewing angles. Multi-position mounts also usually have tilting capabilities and can be neatly folded back against the wall. It is recommended to use a stud finder when mounting your HDTV; do not mount onto drywall Wall TypeIt is important to consider the type of wall you are mounting your TV on. It is highly recommended to use a stud-finder to find wooden studs and to ensure there are no hidden pipes or wires behind where you intend to drill. Do not mount onto drywall, plasterboard or paneled walls unless all wall plate screws are fixed into a wooden stud behind the drywall, plasterboard, or paneled walls. Use suitable wall plugs and screws when mounting onto a solid concrete wall. It is your responsibility to ensure the wall structure and fixings are capable of supporting the screen and mount in a normal working environment. Check the strength of the installation before installing and if you have any doubts regarding installation please consult a qualified contractor.Cable ManagementCable management is something you may wish to consider when wall mounting your TV in order to achieve a neat, uncluttered finish. There are different ways of managing your cables and you may need to consider which approach you will take before installing your mount onto the wall.Surface coverings: The easiest cable management solution is to cover your wires with cable covers. These are coverings which stick to your wall over your cables. Usually made out of plastic, they are available in varying thicknesses and are typically paintable.Concealing in hollow walls: If you are mounting your TV on a stud or partition wall you may choose to run your cables in the hollow space between studs. You can so this by drilling a hole close to where the wall plate of your mount will be and threading your cables through the hollow space to emerge lower down your wall. Depending on the size of the hollow gap however you may have difficulty in threading thicker cables or end connectors. Make sure you check for pipes and wires before drilling, and ensure the screws of the wall plate of your mount are fixed into a wooden stud.Concealing in solid walls: If you are mounting your TV on a solid wall you can conceal your cables by cutting or chiseling out a channel within your wall in which to run your cables. Simply plaster over the channel and repaint to achieve a smooth finish.

  • Clean looking and well made!
Size: 25 to 47-Inch TVs
I only needed one shelf and was able with a 40" TV to not attach the extension of the vertical bar and the second glass shelf. This is showing just the single main bar. This made the mount rather expensive for what I used, but I thought it was worth it for the ability to hide the cords without cutting the wall and going to all that expense and trouble. We also didn't need the TV to extend further from the wall as in other rooms, so the tilt and swivel was perfect. I found the instructions very well designed and easy to follow, if you take their advice and read them through first. All the parts were clearly labeled with letter-number combos and could easily be identified on the instructions. Probably the most challenging thing is figuring out the best way of attaching the mounting bars to the back of your TV using the different screws and spacers. What I do it find the right diameter screw and choose the longest one, then screw it into the back of the TV with no bar and no spacers, so see how far it goes into the TV. Then measure how long that is, and choose a spacer that allows you to make the bar tight and at the same time, have as much length of screw as possible to go into the TV without going past the "end point" so you don't damage your TV. You want to be sure the screw goes far enough in so the TV will be securely held, without going too far. Harder to explain in words than to do it...you just need to understand what I'm trying to say! After that, the next most challenging part is figuring out how high to mount the bar to place the TV at the height you desire. I attached the mounting bars to the TV, located the "hooks" that will hang on the horizontal mounting bar, and measured from the hooks to the top of the TV. Then I figured out where I wanted the top of the TV to be on my wall, and measured down the same distance, which is where the top of the vertical bar should be placed. Then locate a stud, and use a level to draw a vertical plumb line on the wall with pencil. Then you can just place the bar against the wall with the top where you marked, make sure the pencil line is in the center of all the holes, and mark the holes with pencil for drilling. I did have issues screwing the large screws into the studs and had to go up about 4-5 sizes in drill bit before I was able to even get the screws in part way. My husband had to finish with an electric drill. This thing is not going anywhere! The rest is easy, hanging the TV was super easy, and mounting the glass shelf also. I had an outlet and cable put in the wall behind the TV (luckily we have an attic crawl space behind it) so I could hide all the wires. The wires from the cable box are tucked on the sides of the vertical bar. I agree with another reviewer who said the shelves are a bit large for modern cable boxes, but this allows us to leave the remote controls on the shelf, along with another remote for a firestick which I plugged into the back of the TV. It might be nice to provide a smaller shelf and the original shelf rather than two the same size. In the second photo, I put some foam bumpers on the horizontal bar so the wall doesn't get dented from people moving the TV too far to the left (this is a vacation rental so it's best to prevent problems). I also have all the plugs plugged into a surge protector. ... show more

  • Sturdy; Stylish; Fits Original Xbox One
Size: 25 to 47-Inch TVs
After careful consideration of a few similar products, I settled on this one due to a combination of ratings and shelf size. Since I was planning on using this to hold my original fat Xbox One, I needed the shelves to be at least 12 inches deep, and most other mounts have shelves that are 10-12 inches deep. This mount has 13.5 inch deep shelves which are plenty deep for the Xbox One and any cables you might want to plug into the back, and the shelves are plenty wide for the Xbox and a few games. The shelves are also height adjustable so there's plenty of room for a Kinect, though you'll want to be sure to adjust the shelves before you start putting stuff on them. On the topic of the installation, I felt like it was much easier than I was expecting, judging from other reviews. I had absolutely no issues figuring out the instructions, and the shelf mounts are designed in such a way where I didn't have to worry about overtightening and breaking the glass; just don't use a drill or make it so tight you hurt your hand and you'll be done, and the shelves will be secure and stable. All that was needed was a drill, a screwdriver, a hammer, a level, and a 13mm socket/ratchet, and I was able to secure the mount and install my TV in a couple of hours. I will admit that installation was made much easier by my lightweight 32 inch Sony LCD, so if you're using this for a larger TV you'll probably want a hand with the very last step, which is mounting the TV. I think that overall, installation was a breeze and my room looks almost twice as big now with the space that's been cleared up by this mount. I would definitely recommend it, especially if you're using it to hold an Xbox One, the shelves are the perfect size. Plus the mount tilts AND swivels. Try it out, you won't be sorry. ... show more

  • Great Stand, Not an Easy Installation
Size: 25 to 47-Inch TVs
This is the second time I've installed a mounting bracket for a flat screen TV. I remember the first one took about an hour. This one took me somewhere between 2-3 hours. I used a laser light lever to highlight the screw positions on the wall, in front of a stud, to make sure it wasn't going to be mounted crooked. I had a smaller TV (200mm spaces for mounting), so I didn't need to use any of the extension pieces. The mounting bracket on the TV is easy to install. The hard part for me came when trying to attach the pieces of the swivel mount. The mount comes in pieces, so you have to fit washers and a cylinder between the brackets. At times, I had so many pieces in my hands they starting dropping to the floor. A helper would have been nice to have to hand them to me. The front U bracket that came with mine was bent inwards, and I couldn't at first get the pieces to fit, the bottom washer just wouldn't fit were it was supposed to. I had to take the bracket out the garage, place it in a vice, and hammer it to get it straight. Needless to say, it was trial and error and I had to repeat the process about 3-4 times before I finally got it to fit correctly. The other thing people should know is that you need a torx bit to drive the screws into the wall. The screws are very long and go very deep into the stud. You have to have a good drill, too. I also recommend laying the pieces out on the floor grouped by type BEFORE reading the instructions, which are not verbal but diagrams. At least for me, seeing the pieces and identifying them as I went along made it much easier to comprehend the diagrams. Looking at the diagrams first could be harmful to your mental health. ... show more
