It keeps my unpredictable and springy gray hair under control, especially during the monsoon season. I was nervous about ordering from an Amazon reseller, but this one came through with flying colors. Compared the consistency and scent of the product they sent and it is identical to the one purchased a few years ago at an Aveda Salon. Hopefully this will last me until (I hope!) I’m still getting use to using this product. I loved the one of their other products best. However, I like it & It seems to do pretty good as long as I don’t use too much. Im not crazy about the smell. It doesn’t smell bad, just smells like medicine or the such

I LOVE this product! I've been using it for years. It's perfect for humid days when you straighten your hair and you don't want it to frizz up. It smells amazing, as all Aveda products do. It's not an oil which I love, it's more the consistency of your conditioner, but lighter. It doesn't take a lot, so it lasts awhile! If you haven't tried, you definitely should!! ... show more

This stuff is pretty darn good! It makes my hair much smoother and not so "ugh" looking, like my hair is naturally. It softens my hair and now my hair feels lighter and has movement. You have to figure out how much to use, don't use a lot at all, maybe two quarters size. The first time I used too much and had some left over in my roots. Put it on your hair when it's wet, but after wrapping your hair in a towel for just a minute or so, you don't want your hair to be dripping wet. Then I put a little bit on my hand, rub my hands together, place my hands on the back of head, then move my hands and fingers through the rest of my hair, trying not to put too much on the top part (roots) of my head. I let my hair air dry, haven't tried it using a blow dryer. Don't brush your hair until almost all of your hair is dry, and all that isn't dry is a few strands of hair that are stiff with the product in it.
