I first looked into these kinds of patches at the advice of a friend, because I began to get cystic acne on my forehead. I had never had it before and started to use these patches- they stick on extremely well, are breathable, and really do SEAL the affected area in a manner that effectively treats and heals your acne.. I use a jade roller to secure them on even further and it feels like a mini spa day :) . As can be seen in the video of my review, these patches are surprisingly quite translucent when you put them on and they stay secure, so you can actually wear them out and no one will notice! They protect my face from my need to pick at my skin, but also protect it from further factors contributing to acne (like getting hair in face), allow me to apply skincare products over non-affected areas without bothering my skin, and allow me to still wear makeup without aggravating the acne because it is protected under the patch. Last picture was the day after wearing patches overnight- a big difference. After these, I tried other types off Amazon and recognized issues I didn’t have with these whatsoever- some left residue on my face, hurt a bit to peel off, or would easily fall off; these Averelle patches did none of that, so I am switching back. The only reason I stopped using these was because I didn’t really need the large patches that come with it (I prefer the regular circle shaped ones) however cutting up the large ones into smaller portions has worked just fine. In the future, I would love packs made without them!! And thank you for your very sweet card... this customer service and quality is why I am coming back to these Averelle ones... truthfully, there are other acne patch products for cheaper or have benefits like different kinds of adhesives that might also work for your skin, but in my opinion, these are ideal. For example, Averelle patches were (maybe) secondmost fast acting to Nexcare BUT these were much better holistically speaking and still gave me the SAME results in the end, so I truly think these are the all-around best!! ... show more

    • Spot-Blemish Game Changer! Gentle & Effective!
Where do I begin? These little miracle working patches will change the way you handle annoying, overnight blemishes that pop up to ruin your day. For me, I don’t suffer with severe acne, but depending on where I am in my cycle, I do get breakouts around my chin & jaw line. I also get occasional temple & forehead blemishes. These patches extract the blemish up & out, from the root. The goal is to see the opaque white spot of the blemish on the patch by the time you remove it, but even if it doesn’t come out with a white spot, it somehow shrinks it. Sometimes I will put a second patch for another round to pull the blemish completely out. No more squeezing & then dotting pimples with a cream zit treatment with crossed fingers. Most of the time, this can make the blemish worse, more raised/irritated & leave a mark behind that doesn’t go away for days/weeks. What I love the most is that it makes the raised aspect of the blemish disappear with no mark. You can also cut the largest patch in half if you don’t need to use the whole thing at once. They are easy to apply, east to remove & I have experienced literally no side effects or rash at all. I’ve been a customer for about 2 years & I have recommended this product to friends. I’ve tried one other patch product & it paled in comparison on all fronts. The key is to make sure the patch is completely sealed to the skin - hold firm in place on skin for 3-5 seconds. Leave on for a minimum of 7 hours, up to 10. Perfect for sleeping in. If you forget about one & leave it on for an entire day, it doesn’t do any harm. I recommend this product for anyone, even if you only get an occasional blemish once in a while - you’ll be glad that you have this product on hand. ... show more

    • Perhaps helpful for healing, but not so much for extraction
These are not bad patches, however I think they are more useful for later stage healing than actual extraction of a zit's contents. When peeled off, you can see they've gotten a little bit out. However, it really isn't that much. It's less than COSRX and far less than ZitSticka patches. It makes sense, however, because they are so thin. While that does make them less visible (so for those wearing makeup, that may be a big benefit) it seems to inhibit extraction ability. Used over something that is in the later stages of healing, it seemed to help calm the skin down some and keep it from getting too dried out. They aren't really strong enough to pull off any scab-type layers, which COSRX can do. I did really like that they have a rather large size. Like, the large is the size of maybe a nickel (if not a little bigger). There would be good if you use patches to avoid picking at your skin. They are also good for covering a rough area that is healing. They stay on if you have a spot bleeding you need to cover. They won't go far toward healing a breakout, though. I almost gave three stars, but gave four because: There were no adverse effects, the price point is lower than others, they didn't fall off my skin, and they did seem to help calm the skin they were applied to. If I need a "bonus purchase" to meet a minimum for free shipping, I would get these again. Otherwise, I would rather divert my money into more effective patches. ... show more

I like pimple patches, but how well they work depends on the kind of pimple.These are the best patches I've tried: they're sturdy without being too bulky, and they absorb really well. The customer service is great, they send it overnight, definitely best ever.
