    • Marvelous little deep freeze that may get damaged in shipping
This is a great little deep freeze. It's on wheels so it's easy to move around or even keep under a counter until needed. It stays very cold, is extremely quiet, and uses almost no power. It is small for a chest freezer but fits more food than I expected. It is not nearly as unwieldy as a full size chest freezer. Perfect when you need a bit more freezer space in an apartment. It is extremely efficient. The most efficient of any fridge or freezer I have tested. My 500 watt hour battery bank ran it for 30 hours. I bought this mainly to keep my food fresh during power outages since I live in apartment and it works great. If you need a freezer you can run on a battery this is as good as it gets! Unfortunately, as other reviewers have mentioned, mine also came damaged. I was lucky, just a few dings on the corners that don't affect usability. But just a warning be prepared for damage and the possibility you may have to return it if severe. To me, it's still worth buying because you won't find anything else like it.     • Great small freezer
I have only had this freezer for two weeks but it seems far better than the one that was replaced which died after two years. the Avanti is only $30 dollars more and .4 cubic feet bigger but it seems to be a much more professional piece of equipment than the other brand. The temperature control appears to be far more precise and at only 2.5 cubic feet it seems to hold twice as much as the 2.1 cubic foot one. The layout is superior so more of the space is available. This one is a top loader while the old one was a front loader. Thus, I have a rather deep well which can accomodate a lot of items. The interior is covered by a kind of shiny fabric that seems to me to be similar to wallpaper, so one should be careful to avoid using a scraper. There is a drain at the bottom for defrosting which should make it easy to clean. I have the thing sitting on a large pan with a one inch lip. Best of all it has small rollers on the bottom which makes it very easy to move. It is also quiet and it appears to be off much of the time but still keeps things rock solid at the mid level temperature. ... show more

Unfortunately I never set this freezer up to turn it on to test the item itself. I purchased the freezer as "new" and received a very used, dented unit. The bottom was stained and had white duct tape over areas that must have been torn (the bottom was some white corrugated material (plastic?). I have attached a photo. I couldn't tell if the stains were from the coolant or from water. There were dents on the sides. I did not want to risk turning it on in case the stains were from coolant material. Also, there was a small plastic bag around the electrical elements at the bottom (to protect them from leaking??). The seller was very prompt and processed the return immediately. But this is a heavy, bulk item that was a lot of work to package back up to return. I did get a full refund. I was very disappointed as this little freezer was the perfect size, shape and was on wheels. ... show more

I live in an apartment so our laundry area is a decent space BUT you have to pick from either a washer/dryer or a deep freezer (the normal size you see in Sam's or Walmart), you won't get both to fit. Well I ran across this one and said PERFECT!! So, it's the perfect size for a small family and I love the fact it has wheels on it but like a lot of the other reviews, it came with dents! This could be remedied if they use bubble wrap or that snow type of cushion but when you open your box the product is right there! No other box or cushion material to protect during shipping! The company had pretty good customer service though, just wish my freezer didn't have 2 dents on the corner because you almost have to settle for it verses the hassle of shipping it back. ... show more

It works well. It’s very roomy & spacious inside. It holds a lot of food. I love this feature. I like it that it’s not too heavy to move it around. I love it that the product has wheels. It makes my life much easier. It makes it easy to move the product around. I am only 5 feet 3, 130 pounds, & I can move this product around the house very easily. I would buy this product again. I would recommend this product to my friends. I am happy with this product. I’ve paid $260.00. I wish it was cheaper. It arrives very fast in only 3 days. I love my freezer its just big enough to give me extra room that i need. It fits nicely in the small spot i have in my small apt. It gets cold fast and it freezes way better than the freezer on my fridge. Ohhh i love the wheels makes it easier to oull out when u need to get in it. I would recommend this to anyone! The shipping was super quick xame two days early but im next door to the state it came from. I do suggest tjey require a signature so fedex doesnt just leave it on the porch like these did mones. I had my daughter order this for me and had it sent to another daughters home and fefex left it on the porch she didnt get jome unyil 5 hours later thsnk God it was still there. ... show more

The freezer is fairly light in weight so easy to manage into tight spaces. It freezes well and is quiet. I live on my boat so fitting into tight spaces was essential and quiet operation is good. BUT like many reviewers before have experienced, the unit arrived with several dents and a broken cover plate. They’re cosmetic but I would not have paid full price had I seen the damage and the vendor would only offer either an exchange (huge headache getting it off the boat) or $20 credit which is nothing close to the discount I’d have gotten if I’d been knowingly purchasing a damaged unit. ... show more
