After heating the tubes it went together easily. But ive noticed if i set the timer for any longer then 3-5 secs The pump will drain all seven gallons into my tent really quick. I mean it works well. But the pump might be to strong lol. I think i might need a bigger reservoir

Immediate thought: If you have any kind of medical or age-related issues with your hands, you WILL need help with assembly. Even with two other able-bodied people helping me (I am disabled and have issues with my hands), this was very difficult to assemble. The translated instructions are very difficult to follow. I have included images of them for your reference. I honestly have a hard time understanding a lot of it. I try later in the review to explain them better. Many things seem very unfinished, or not completely thought out: - The water pump sits on the bottom of the reservoir, even though it has mounting points. There's just nothing to mount it to. - The included (vinyl?) tubing was extremely difficult to install onto the barbs. As someone who is disabled, I absolutely could not assemble this on my own. A rubber grip pad (as in one of my images) helped a lot to hold on to the tubing, but it was still extremely difficult. I needed a lot of help, and a lot of breaks. - The included tubing diameter was simply too small to ever possibly mount directly to the pump. In my included photo, I had to use a small section of silicone tubing which I had laying around which thankfully happened to be just the right size to use as an adapter. I sealed it with a zip-tie to make sure it stayed in place. - The emitters have some kind of adapter attached to the back of them. I removed those and kept them in case they're needed later, as I think they are for connecting two pieces of tubing together. Could be useful but they aren't explained in the instructions. - There is a water level indicator which installs onto the reservoir, with a little red ball in it. The little ball just falls out of the indicator, nothing holds it in. If the water level ever gets too low, it will just fall into the reservoir. Once everything is assembled, each of the drip emitters can be adjusted for an amount of water flow depending on the needs of the plant. The tip simply twists to adjust the flow. This part seems to be working pretty well. The controller is a simple duty-cycle controller. A set on-time, followed by a set off-time. It does not take sunlight or time of day into account. The instructions were again very difficult to understand, so I'll try to explain how to use the timer: -Long-press S1 to set the on-time, or S2 to set the off-time. -In setting mode, S3 selects the digit you are adjusting -In setting mode, S4 selects whether the timer will be in hours, minutes, or seconds -In setting mode, S5 adjusts the selected digit from 0-9. -Long press S1 or S2 (respectively) to exit the setting mode and save the setting. -The settings do appear to survive power outages. -Long-press S5 to shut down the controller. Long-press S5 again to reactivate the controller. It will reactivate at the beginning of the "on" state of the timer, rather than pause the timer. -Pressing S4 and S5 simultaneously will turn the pump on, and leave it on indefinitely, not using the timer. This is helpful to adjust your drip emitters. Deactivate this mode by long-pressing S5. Water CAN be siphoned through the pump and tubing to the emitters if the reservoir is higher than the emitters. Keep the reservoir in a low location to avoid this. Once all of the above is taken into account, the system does function. So I'm going with 3 stars. ... show more

I am just a gardening beginner but this helps alot. Nowadays everyone is busy. That is where this steps in. It has easy to follow instructions and was very easy to assemble. I have been doing thios with my daughter and she is having the best time. Definitely recommend for other enthusiast.

If you've used drop systems before, you know how this goes together, but if you haven't, the instructions are not going to be of much help. The connector pieces are difficult to put together, but that's true of most systems like this. Heating up the tubing before sliding it on the connector helps! I love that this system comes with everything, including the bucket. I've had to improvise with other systems. Once assembled, this automatic drip irrigation system works great. ... show more

This is the reservoir, tubing, pump and timer for a drip irrigation system. I like the bucket because it has a corner lid to peak into the container to check on things and it has a little plastic sight glass on the side to monitor the water level. However, I think it's a bit pricey for what you get. If you need an all in one kit and don't want to mess with finding the individual parts, then this is perfect for you. If you'd rather save some money and do it yourself, keep looking around. The quality is nice but I took a star away because of the higher price. ... show more
