    • Great auto feeder. Familiar tuya app interface, easy to program, perfect size
I have 2 cats. One is a kitten I recently acquired (both are rescues), the other will be 10 this year. Because the older cat is used to being an only child, I have to keep the kitten in an enclosed area most of the time. It's quite large and I made it out of several enclosure packs that I got here on Amazon, but it's more difficult to feed her as often as my older cat, and when I feed the kitten, the older cat expects food. Enter the automatic feeder. I previously used a non-smart automatic feeder, but it was difficult to access to program, to force an extra feeding, and more. I love this smart feeder and I'm glad I went with it. One big selling point is the fact that it uses the Tuya app, which many smart devices use these days. No proprietary app necessary. I use the Tuya Smart app but most people probably use and are familiar with the Smart Life app. They both work and are the same company. You can set schedules for different days of the week, and as many feeding schedules with as many portions as you want. I find the single portion to be perfect, and have it dispense 5 times a day (kittens eat more often) as well as I give her one wet serving per day for now. I plan to increase that soon. Though I don't use it often, the camera feature works incredibly well, both with and without the IR mode on. If I'm downstairs and I hear the kitten crying I can quickly open the camera and make sure she's okay before rushing up there every time. Sometimes she just wants attention, which I give her plenty of, but it's nice to know if I can tell her to hang on for a minute or rush up to help her if she gets caught on something or some other issue. The view angle is great and it has helped me several times. The amount of food this feeder holds is substantial, especially for one cat. The bowl is great and there's no issue with kibbles landing outside the bowl when it dispenses. Another great little touch but important (I didn't realize how important it was until I used it) is that it comes with a wall bracket that you mount on the wall or some vertical surface (in my case, the enclosure fencing) and the feeder has a notch it slides down onto this mount. This keeps the feeder from being knocked over, which my kitten did many times with her other feeder. That's no longer an issue. This feeder is larger than the old one but holds plenty of food (I only like to fill it about half way at a time, which is still plenty). Overall I'm extremely satisfied with this feeder and allows me to effortlessly ensure kitten has food throughout the day without getting my other cats attention and being pressured into overfeeding her (all cat parents should be familiar with the pressure and the state that we simply cannot resist!). I can make sure the kitten is okay when I hear her cry for any reason, and I can easily adjust and set the schedule as I choose without physically accessing the feeder. I can also quickly and effortlessly give her an extra feeding by simply touching the feed button on the feeder or in the app. 5 stars all the way around. It doesn't feel like a cheap product in build quality in any way. It feels sturdy and you can't even tell that the kitten tries to make it give her food by pawing into the dispenser 😂 I have full confidence this feeder will last beyond its use. It's also easy to clean. I highly recommend this if you're looking for a quality feeder with all the bells and whistles and peace of mind. I'm extremely picky about quality and safety for my babies, even more so than for myself. And I have sound peace of mind on this product. ... show more

A automatic pet food dispenser with a built-in WiFi camera, under $100 is a great deal considering the features. It has plenty of capacity for a small to medium size dog which can last all week. A compartment for inserting desiccant inside the lid to keep the food fresh. The camera quality is great if you have good lighting, however the night camera mode helps keep a clear B&W video stream. Accessing the live camera feed is quick and responsive, no lag and connects way faster than any of my Ring cameras. App is pretty decent, easy to use, record video or capture photos, dispensing a set amount of potions remotely. It is easy to create a feeding schedule which is perfect for puppies that eat 3-4 times a day. Overall a great value and no jams yet, might not work for very larger kibble sizes though. Haven't had a chance to test that yet since my pup is still on the puppy kibble. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I just bought this feeder with camera because I work long shifts and needed to be able to keep my dog on a good feeding schedule, and also be able to keep an eye on him. And it has worked great so far. There was no real assembly needed. The app setup was not too difficult to install and to set it up on my Android phone. The scheduling app works easily to program his meals. With a little trial and error, I was able to set up the right food portions. The kibble I feed him is about 10 mm. Maximum feeding at the time is "20 portions" and when measured out the 20 portions equals one cup. My 75 lb. dog eats two cups per meal but he is usually fed with a slow eater bowl, so I set the schedule to go in off 4 times at 1 minute apart to feed him to feed him 10 portions (1/2 cup) each. This works out perfectly. He was not scared of the feeder at all either. The camera works great! I have feeder setup inside a room in the house and it faces his doggy door so I can see whether he is inside or outside. On the first day using it, and his first day with the dog door setup, a storm was coming and I can see that he was outside and he does not like storms. I was able to use the two-way voice feature to call him inside out of the storm, and then gave him an extra bite to eat as a snack. Then I was able to keep an eye on him to see how he reacted during the storm. I know this is not a typical use for this product, but it was very helpful and worked perfectly for me! The video and camera quality are actually really great for both regular and also the black and white night vision. The photos and video that I take are automatically put on my Google phone app. I do wish I could do constant 24hr recording without paying a monthly fee though maybe worth the use of a TF card. But not a game changer. Motion detection works well and gives me a push notification when he comes in the room, and could be used for many reasons as security while gone. The only real thing I would like to see changed is maybe a volume setting on the speaker to set it at half volume sometimes because it can be a little loud in a small room. And I would like to be able to set it up with my Google Home account without having to use their app. But the app is easy to use so it's not a problem. We just purchased 2 of the DoHonest Automatic Dog Feeders with Camera and have been using it for several days. We love it. Took a few days for our dogs to get used to it since we have a command to take it when feeding so they did not know what to do at first. But now, no issues!! Easy to program and to set the correct amounts you would like to feed. Camera option is a great feature too! ... show more
