  • Sunset timer does not work.
As an upgrade to the original pulse hub I absolutely would not spend the money on this. I got it specifically for the smart sunset timer function that the old hub did not have and it does not work. Strangely, the sunrise timer does work. I will say that the rollease customer support was very helpful. Response times were slow but they did try to rectify the situation as well as sending me a replacement hub. Unfortunately both hubs act exactly the same and as of now there has been no resolution. ... show more

  • A bit of a pain to get started , but great unit once you figure it out!
Wanted to smash it , dance on it and otherwise discombobulate this tiny white box 📦. Then i figured out the secrets . Read carefully and hopefully this will help someone from hurling this unit or themselves off a balcony !! . Make sure your phone is on a 2.4 ghz wifi only , making sure to disable auto reconnect on 5 Ghz bands and 'forgetting' them so your device has no choice but to stay on the 2.4 network. Follow the instructions in the app exactly to pair the Pulse 2 to your router . Once this is done .... VERY IMPORTANT!! .... when you goto program each shade via remote and it says press P2 twice .... there must be a pause between the presses. Press it once ... shade will cycle and beep... wait for that beep BEFORE the second press of P2 . Then hit next on the APP and you shade will react with cycling and beeps and hallelujah... all things will be great. Pro tip ... check out SCENES where you can command you blinds to all exactly the same spot in 100 increments from open to closed , incidently 5% will be hanging closed for shades the become more transparent in FULL closed position. Hope this helps somebody, love all y'all peace ... show more

  • You Kinda Need This if You Want to Smarten Your Blinds
I bought smart blinds from Blinds to Go. Cost me waaaaayyyy more than I anticipated. I did not realize when I bought those blinds the ONLY way I'd be able to control them remotely with my phone was with this hub. I own several hubs already (SmartThings, Aqara, Switchbot, TTLock, Hue) and this one was BY FAR the most difficult to set up. It also has to be literally directly under the blinds for it to pair and it loses connection CONSTANTLY. All my other hubs are in one room on a shelf, but this one is in my bedroom on a side table beneath the blinds. I paired this hub to use with my SmartThings, but trying to control my blinds through the SmartThings app is impossible as it constantly reads as unreachable. After some googling, I found that it works best with SmartThings automations (although even that isn't 100%) but not direct control. So you're forced to use the app. The app takes a while to reach the blinds and it STILL reads as offline until you choose to either open or close it. Had I known the blinds I purchased would only work with this hub, I would've chosen something else. ... show more

  • Hub constantly turns off
Unlike other reviewers, I did not have any problem pairing my blinds to this hub. I did find the signal strength to be rather weak compared to handheld remotes. The issue that made this product unusable for me is that the hub would constantly just be off. There is an on indicator LED on the unit that remains blue when the unit is on. Every day when my pre-set schedules would fail to work I would check the unit and find that there was no light on at all. When this would happen, the app would show the hub as being offline. This was not a wifi or network issue. I suspected the power supply cord and tried several other solutions (the device uses a USB cable) but had no luck. Ultimately I did return the unit and received a full refund. ... show more

  • Garbage that does not work
Don't bother with this item - it doesn't work.

  • Product works as advertised
The 1st hub they sent have the wrong ID number and couldn’t be connected. Sent it back and received a replacement within 3 days. 2nd device connected in 5 min. Setup my 5 blinds with no trouble. Device does exactly what it is suppose to do. For a month now I haven’t had any disconnect/need to reset issues. Occasionally one blind does work on command but the next command it works. Not a big deal to me as clearly the signal just wasn’t received. Probably just need to adjust the antenna for better reception. Overall very pleased. Very cool to set schedules to raise and lower at set times during the day. ... show more

  • Very finicky and constant dropped connections
I've received 1 firmware update in the 9+ months of having and using this. Not sure what the firmware was supposed to do (since they dont have release notes anywhere) but it didn't fix ANY issues. When this works, its great. Problem is most of the time it just doesnt work. more than half the time when issuing a command through HomeKit, the shades won't respond. I at first thought this was a HomeKit issue but then when I go into the automate app to do it through there, it gives me the "motor offline" message. Unplugging power and rebooting the router makes it work again for a while, but then a few hours later it becomes unreliable again. I've been holding my breath for 6+ months for a new firmware to fix this, so maybe one day it'll happen. In the meantime i'd recommend looking at the new HomeKit automatic blind options on the market that might be more reliable than this. ... show more
