Description

Whether you’re just getting into records, rediscovering a record collection long since buried away or simply adding a turntable to complete your system, the AT-LP60X fully automatic belt-drive turntable is an excellent choice. This affordable, easy-to-use turntable plays both 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records and, with its built-in switchable phonon preamp, can be connected directly to your home stereo, powered speakers, computer and other components, whether they have a dedicated phonon input or not. An update of the popular AT-LP60, the ATLP60X features a redesigned tone arm base and head shell to improve tracking and reduce resonance. Noise is further reduced by the inclusion of an AC adapter that moves the AC/DC conVersion outside of the chassis where its impact on the signal chain is limited. Audio-Technical has been a leader in phonon cartridge design for more than 50 years, and that expertise shows in the AT-LP60X’s Dual Magnet cartridge with replaceable stylus. The cartridge is integrated into the head shell for assured performance and ease of setup. The turntable comes with a detachable RCA output cable (3. 5 mm male to dual RCA male), 45 RPM adapter, and a removable hinged dust cover. It is available in black (AT-LP60X-BK), brown/black (AT-LP60X-BW), gunmetal/black (AT-LP60X-GM), and red/black (AT-LP60X-RD).

  • Excellent turntable, could only ask for aluminum exterior
Color: Black Style: Wired Pattern: Turntable
The bottom line is that this turntable is excellent. It required a little bit of setup out of the box but it works exactly as you'd expect it to. The sound quality, with phono output to the receiver in my theater, is spectacular. Extremely easy to operate. Like others have said, it does use a plastic construction, but that doesn't mean it looks cheap. I wish it was aluminum, but also I don't ever plan to move it around. It's probably just fine as it is. Great buy at $120. ... show more

  • Great value. Solid turntable & easy setup (even for newbies)!
Color: Brown Style: Turntable Pattern: Turntable
The turntable shipped insanely fast and arrived in perfect condition. Setup was a breeze. Took me <10 min (there are several great quick start YouTube videos if you need help unboxing or setting it up). I’m waiting on a set of powered speakers to arrive. In the meantime, I’m using a Bluetooth transmitter and a Bose Bluetooth speaker and the sound quality is great. Deep, rich tones and bass. If you’re just looking to get into the vinyl game and don’t want to deal with complicated setup and a hefty price tag, this is the turntable for you! 👌 ... show more

  • Really easy to set up, operate, light weight, low profile
Color: Black Style: Wired Pattern: Turntable
This is replacing a very old Bang & Olufson tangential tracking turntable that had finally gone kaput after years of keeping it going. I just wanted a cheap, simple, automatic turntable with lowish profile and smallish footprint to play LPs and 7' singles at 33, 45 rpm, with simple switching between the two sizes/speeds and no messing around with belt position as on pricey turntables. This does the job beautifully. Analog plugs from 3.5 mm jack plug in back of turntable for output to amplifier, no extra lead to reduce buzzing/humming noises - no need for one. It even has a nice little recess for the 45 adaptor (included) for when the center's been removed from a single - brilliant! I haven't experimented with whether it needs a pre-amp, or not - it depends upon which amp you're using and they're cheap enough to buy if you need one; and I haven't attempted direct recording to other media formats - I have $2000 player and old CD recorder/player set up for that so I can make my own CDs. I'm not into music on computers, digital downloads or all the awful modern crap from last 20 years. OK, sound isn't on the same level as a $1000+ hi-fi turntable, with all the 20lb weight, leveling, and the rest, but it is adequate for my needs. Would make a very nice starter turntable for a teenager who's maybe discovering what vinyl was all about 50, 60 years ago and spinning grand-dad's old records, or buying new ones since vinyl's back in popularity again after the wilderness years of 1990s - 2010s. It's nicely retro, without being cheesy. It just does the job without hassle. Back to analog. I bet you can even find a mono cartridge if you look around. ... show more

  • Best turntable to get into the vinyl world with quality sound and easy setup.
Color: Black Style: Wired Pattern: Turntable
I got into vinyl and got around two turntables that werent that much it. Finally after a long time of reviews and deciding to spend the buck I decided to get into an Audio-Technica turntable. All I got to say is that their brand name stands up for their reputation. If you can afford it and want to get into vinyl I totally recommend it. If you dont want to spend on some preamps thats ok because this turn table has an option to use its internal preamp so its plug and play with your speakers of choice. Overall Im happy and finally got what I've been looking for when playing vinyls. ... show more

  • Solid bargain for the quality of the product.
Color: Black Style: Wired Pattern: Turntable
The construction of the body of the player is plastic, but feels relatively durable. The turntable, however, is metal and feels strong. It is a belt driven turn-table and works well so far. The start-stop buttons feel flimsy, but have worked so far. The audio quality has been good through my Sony receiver and my tower speakers. It was easy enough to put together. I will update my review if it fails at some point. ... show more

  • Best purchase ever
Color: Black Style: Wired Pattern: Turntable
I desperately needed an upgrade from my last turntable. Took a second to put it all together but really wasn’t too hard and didn’t mind the effort. Does not come with speakers, so those are a separate purchase. Easy to connect to the speakers, just a quick plug in. Does not connect to Bluetooth, but my speakers do. Looks sleek and works well. Definitely worth the buy. ... show more

  • Beautiful Sound, Automatic Features a Plus
Color: Black Style: Wired Pattern: Turntable
Hooked this up to my 7.1 + Zone 2 setup throughout my basement and am very impressed with the sound quality. Does have a one output split into L/R (did wish it was L/R to L/R). The automatic arm motion is awesome, as well. Definitely worth the $$.
