Running through batteries on my Quest 3 controllers. You know that moment when you're about the hood into a game, you're about to kill a boss, annnd your controller battery dips out 🤬....did you lose the battle and not win the war? Me too--3 hours of intense gameplay down the drain. Frustrated, I bought these controllers. They arrived promptly. They are well designed. Decent quality. Only issue was one of the rechargeable controllers wouldn't hold a charge. No matter what I did the controller wouldn't hold a charge. Upon contactinh customer support for a replacement controller, within a week I had a brand new set of controllers. I had only asked for the broken one to be replaced. That was incredibly prompt and efficient customer service. Now that there both up and running, I absolutely love the controllers. I even made my husband by a set for his headset . The controllers show no lag. They hold a charge for at least 6 hours of intense non-stop gaming. I haven't taken them past the 6 hour mark as even I need a break from VR. LOL. They hold a charge very well for a few days. Haven't had to check past that as I pick up my Q3 at least 5 times a week. Overall a very decent product and checks all the boxes. ... show more

Update—In two days I have received a replacement product, brand new and working perfectly. Changed my original review from 1 star to 5 stars because I love the look and feel of these rechargeable grips, they are just perfect for my kid/sized hands. Batteries are working great. Great fast turn around!!!!! Original—Dead on arrival. The battery never worked, even though I get a green light indicating it is fully charged. I’m returning it and will purchase it again. Maybe I’ll get lucky the second time around. If so, I’ll change my review accordingly! ... show more

    • Rechargable and Feel Good to Use

I prefer this set from AMVR mainly for its rechargeable battery. I utilize round USB C magnetic inserts from another Aubika product, the CyberCore, which includes a split cable with round magnetic tips for convenient charging and storage. These feel nice in my hands without any uncomfortable edges. They have never caused any tracking issues, and they fit snug to the controllers. They use a unique trapped door in the grip that mounts to the controller so that the original release mechanism must be used to pull them off. They won't be slipping off of these controllers no matter how hard you play. The downside of this grip set is lack of a spot for a lanyard. In many fast-moving games and exercise routines I want the security that these lanyards provide. I can also wrap the lanyard around my hand to give myself a tighter grip when throwing my hands around with light sabers in Beat Saber. I have tied the original lanyards around the strap, but they keep falling off. Unlike another review I saw, I have no interference with the trigger and the grip. They have never lost tracking and unless AMVR comes up with a rechargeable grip, I won't need to try any other brands. ... show more

I'm incredibly frustrated. The right controller is not charging. It will say it's at 10 percent then goes dead. The left seems fine. I got these hoping it would save on batteries but it's not working. Also it's very difficult pulling that meta quest strap through. If he seller contacts me and fixes this I'll give another review. As someone with small hands I LOVE these. I’ve tried similar style straps and couldn’t make them small enough. These fit perfectly! Having built in easily rechargeable batteries are great too. 4 hours uses up about 20% for me.

I had these same ones when i had the quest 2 and it made it so easy to charge my controllers whenever needed becauss of the usbc connection that everything has these days. No longer have to remove the grip cover on my controller to try and balance it on my charging stand that doesnt work half the time. I rebought tjem for my quest 3 and find this to be one of the necessary upgrades besides a new headstrap battery combo and a silicone or leather face shield. ... show more

I've been using these grips for a month. And in general - I like it. It has a good quality of materials and it's very convenient to be able to charge controllers with USB-C. But I faced with a couple of problems First problem is that it has bad batteries. When I got it, my right controller didn't work with those batteries (I tried to install both in my left controller and they worked, but they didn't work in the right one). I wrote a message to the seller, and they agreed to send another set of batteries (but they didn't do it for 20 days. They just said they have nothing in the Amazon warehouse...). 2 weeks later I decided to try it again and, oh, my goodness, it worked. It has a very low capacity (I charge it every week, while I can't charge the left one for a month), but it works. I also found a review for MaeckerVR grips. They have the same batteries... And the same problem with the right controller! It's a big problem =) And the second problem is that it was hard to play in Beat Saber with these controllers. But I have no problems in other games. I think it takes some getting used to. ... show more
