  • Holy upgrades Batman!

Talk about being spoiled... I mainly hunt whitetail and this accessory for the ATN is one of the coolest things I've ever bought. I picked up an ATN X-Sight 4k Pro 3-14x 2nd hand and love it. As soon as I decided to buy the scope I started research and saw this range finder. Bought it before I even had the scope and put it on immediately after purchase. The whole setup it damn heavy, but it's worth it to me, and I still hunt 95% of the time. Hitting a button to get the range and the ballistics being calculated automatically...? No more clicks on the scope for long shots...? Money. I haven't tested it at ranges over 200 yet (not shooting anyway), but when I do, I'll update my review. If you have the money, get this thing. ... show more

  • Works like a charm but then again it is an ATN product...
Style: 1000 Pattern Name: Rangefinder
It mounted easily, I was a little confused about the rubber O Rings and where they went but figured it out. I took it to the range, aligned and calibrated it, and it worked great! I 3D printed a cover to protect it. I find that my lens covers no longer fit so having a 1/4" relief around the tube extension so you can use the aftermarket flip-caps would be nice ... show more

  • Great product, simple setup. Excellent quality and accuracy.
Style: 1000 Pattern Name: Rangefinder
I purchased this rangefinder to pair with my X-Sight 4K pro. It worked perfectly and was easy to set up. I sighted my .223 rifle in at 25 yards with the one-shot option in the x-sight scope menu. After one shot, I was MOA at 100 yards, 75 yards, and 50 yards with the rangefinder adjusting point of impact with the press of a button. Truly amazing. Pros: Quick, easy setup Excellent Build Quality Works exactly as described Very Accurate Cons: Button placement- to activate the rangefinder there is a small button which is on the rangefinder at the front of the scope. If you need to make a quick adjustment in a high stakes shot, reaching for the front of the scope is a pretty big motion to manage. I purchased the ATN X-TRAC tactical remote which can be placed anywhere on the rifle via Velcro straps and controls both the rangefinder and the xsight menu controls. The trio combine for a powerful setup that you won't even find in high-end night vision or thermal scopes. Size- when added to the already large X-Sight scope makes for a very large optic setup. That being said, I am mainly hunting predators from a fixed position. I am not sure the xsight plus rangefinder combo would be very comfortable to carry or shoot out of a cramped deer stand. I can be done, though. ... show more

  • ATN users should consider this option
Style: 1000 Pattern Name: Rangefinder
First off, let me say that I am a Tech Idiot. Me and fancy new electronic devices don't do very well together. That being said, I was able to figure out both the ATN scope and Range Finder. Like all ATN products, they link together nicely, turn on the scope, go to settings, find the correct tabs for the items you are adding, save your settings and go have some fun. I go to a local range that has bays from 100-400yds, the only problem there is they call a cease fire every 15 mins. After the cease fire, you have to get set up, take your shot, check your target, oh Darn, another cease fire. My suggestion, find an area out in the middle of nowhere, where it is legal to shoot, and set your scope/range finder there where you have time to concentrate. Thank you ATN for all the products you offer us, you make our hobby/sport fun. ... show more

  • Point and click to the max
Style: 1000 Pattern Name: Rangefinder
I've always been pretty good at guesstimating ranges with small arms. In my former job as a USN Gunner's Mate I got a little spoiled though at having radar generated ranges when firing the ship's guns and I always wished for something similar for small arms because "pretty good" and "guesstimating" sometimes means having to track wounded game all night, or not having any meat to bring home. My wish has been answered! Okay, it took a few decades (What can I say? I've always been ahead of my time.) and it's not radar, it's a laser beam, but boy does this fit the bill! If I miss a shot these days it's not going to be because I guesstimated the range wrong. Using a 100-yard tape measure I set out targets at various ranges between 50 yards and 400 yards then set about seeing just how accurate this unit was. In every measurement it was within 1 yard of the range, and at closer ranges it was often dead on. Well worth the price I paid for it! ... show more

  • Fast and accurate
Style: 1500 Pattern Name: Rangefinder
This is a brand new product offered by ATN for their premium scopes. I was excited to receive one of the first units to hit the North American shores and quickly attached the unit to my X-Sight 4K. The physical attachment was as easy as pie and took a whopping three minutes. The bluetooth connection took a bit longer. At first, the unit would not pair with scope after about twenty attempts. Finally, it did indicate that it was paired, but the unit would not allow me to align it using the built in laser. It simply came back with a message to connect the ABL. After checking for a new firmware update at the ATN website, the new version 330 was found and I installed it into the scope. After a few more failed attempts, it finally acknowledged the BT pairing and locked the two units together. The rest of the setup proceeded without any issues and it is now a fast and accurate scope system. I have yet to take it to the range, but I have verified its readings with my Leopold rangefinder and it is spot on. What a wonderful, accurate system! It's a keeper. ... show more
