  • Always Ready For Caramel
Flavor Name: Chocolate Peanut Nougat Size: 5 Count (Pack of 3)
I'm always up for caramel; anytime, anywhere. As with most Atkins bars, these taste good, have nice caramel flavor, and they are fresh. Only con is that they are pricey.

  • Delicious!
Flavor Name: Caramel Chocolate Nut Roll Size: 5 Count (Pack of 6)
The “Caramel chocolate nut rolls” are by far my favorite Atkins bar! These are great option for anyone with a sweet tooth that is on a strict diet such as keto!

  • One of the few maltitol-free Atkins bars
Flavor Name: Chocolate Peanut Nougat Size: 5 Count (Pack of 3)
I am an athlete that sticks to a LCHF diet. I'm always on the lookout for low carb snacks and my staple so far have been the Quest protein bars. They are an excellent, minimally processed bar but the high protein levels (20g) make it easy to get excessive protein, which can result in falling out of ketosis. Most of the Atkins bars are full of maltitol and maltitol syrup, which contrary to their claim of not counting as carbs, actually are relatively high glycemic. That's before even getting to the extreme laxative effects of maltitol. After looking through ingredients list I found only three Atkins bars that do not have maltitol. This is one of them, and the other two are the Caramel Fudge Brownie and Peanut Butter Fidge Crisp. The label says it still has sugar alcohols but it is only glycerol which is digested better than most. I tested these bars by eating two of them and waiting to see if they upset my stomach like a maltitol-based bar would, and got no ill results. This bar is heavily processed with a super-long list of chemical ingredients. Normally I stay away from that kind of thing but if you are desperate for a low carb snack you can probably deal with it. I don't recognize any of the artificial ingredients as being known to have negative health impacts. That isn't true of the natural ingredients, sadly: it contains soy, which has harmful anti-nutrients. The flavor of the bar is fantastic. It's like the candy bars you used to eat before you learned how toxic sugar was! In fact, compared to the average run-of-the-mill candy bars pushed out by the food companies (e.g. Snickers), this tastes, in my opinion, even better. It has 10g of protein, which helps it stay filling but isn't as much as the Quest bars I typically eat. That makes me less worried about getting excessive protein. Atkins considers the net digestible carbs to be 3g. (Note: the box I got differs from the label and description on Amazon. Amazon's description says 12g of protein, and the Amazon label shows 9g of fat and 11g of protein. The actual numbers from the box are 11g of fat, 10g of protein). Ultimately, even if you, like me, want to avoid processed foods, you can probably take the bullet to keep this treat around. I'm still going to knock it down a star for the over-processing -- other than that they would be a five. They are satisfying, taste great, have a good macronutrient profile. This is now a staple of my pantry, always on hand for when I need a snack. ... show more

  • Tastes like Baby Ruth bars
Flavor Name: Caramel Chocolate Nut Roll Size: 5 Count (Pack of 6)
I think these are delicious! They do not taste like a low carb food to me, but they are! They have a relatively high amount of saturated fat, so I resist the temptation and only eat one a day.

  • getting too expensive
Flavor Name: Caramel Chocolate Nut Roll Size: 5 Count (Pack of 6)
I gave it 5 stars b/c I bought the 6 packs for under $40. I see it has now gone up to over $67. No way will I ever pay for that especially when the grocery store charges less than $7 per pack (6 pk would be $42). Over $67 is a rip-off. The bars are good, but not that good lol. • Best of the Atkins bars
Flavor Name: Caramel Chocolate Nut Roll Size: 5 Count (Pack of 6)
These are exceptionally good for low sugar chocolate bars. I've tried nearly all the Atkin bars and these are the best by far. It is the closest snack item I've found to a Snickers bar without all the carbs.
