They can take some trial and error, but these cards will help you make an impression, whatever you use them for. It’s nice that there are 5 colors to try. The carrying case can’t hold all of them, but it can hold at least 20 which can protect them if you want to bring cards out with you without them getting damaged or dented. I wanted to try them out as business cards so I made a sample design and used my diode laser (Creality CR-Falcon 10W) to try engraving some samples. I hadn’t engraved anything metal before, so I quickly learned that the normal metal engraving settings are WAY too high for aluminum this thin. The laser punched and dented the back of the card, and the denting made it jump out of place during the lasering(so it’s a good idea to secure the cards before you engrave them.) The photo of the blue card shows the back of a damaged card, after the laser beat it up. After a few more attempts, I found good pretty success on my laser with the speed set to 2000 mm/min and 60% power(other lasers will probably be different). For what it's worth, that's about 10x slower and half the power that was recommended for engraving thicker metals. I then ran the test design across all colors which confirmed that the color of the card has an impact on what your settings need to be. So when you calculate how many cards you are going to make with this set, I would make sure you factor 1 or 2 of each color as test pieces, so you can customize the settings and get the results you want. You can see in the photo that the silver card did not engrave well with my normal settings, and the black and blue cards did ok, but probably needed more power to cut through more of the coloration. The copper and yellow ones came out the best. The level of detail that the cards allow from the laser is very good. The engraving is very precise, but the darker colors show just a little bit of a shadow at the edges of the engraving. It’s only noticeable if you are doing very fine details. The cards don’t really feel like metal, but they do have a decent metallic sound when they are dropped (and honestly if they felt like metal they would probably make bad business cards.) As metal, they can be bent and dented easily, and undoing the damage is not easy. The coloring can also scratch off from sharp objects or even the edge of another nearby card. The bottom line is that they need extra care for them to keep looking great. Metal cards don’t exist because they are practical, they exist because they are unique (and awesome.) I think this set is a good sampler, because I intend to pick a color and then buy more of that color only, rather than always buying different colors. But this gave an affordable way to actually see results in different colors. Having multiple colors could have uses though, like for categorizing things. ... show more

I like the fact that this laser can be run off of different software (2 are included, one free and one trial). Regardless of the control software you use, the options are quite versatile. I've used this to cut wood, etch dog tags, and even add engravings to plastic cups and planter pots (had to get a vent hood, though). It's great for both boot and salty users alike. ... show more

As someone who enjoys laser engraving as a hobby, I was excited to try out the Atezr KR PRO 4-in-1 Laser Rotary Set. This product comes with both a jaw chuck rotary and a Y-axis rotary roller, making it versatile for engraving cylindrical objects of different sizes. The installation process was fairly simple and straightforward. I appreciate that the set comes with clear instructions that are easy to follow. Once installed, I tested the product on a few different cylindrical objects, and I was impressed with the results. The engraving was precise and clean, even on curved surfaces. One thing to note is that the jaw chuck rotary is a bit finicky to adjust at first. However, with a bit of patience and practice, it becomes easier to use. Overall, I am happy with my purchase of the Atezr KR PRO 4-in-1 Laser Rotary Set. I got these business card blanks to use with my laser engraving machine. They are a good weight, have smooth edges, rounded corners and there are 5 different colors. The colors are subtle and beautiful! I tried a couple in my machine and they turned out pretty good, but I'm new to engraving and have not yet worked out the bugs in my machine set-up, so my results were not up to my standards. I'm sure it is because I am a novice to laser engraving and not the fault of the product. ... show more

Something I really appreciated about the machine was how easy it was to put together. The provided instructions are clear. Packaging is VERY neat and tight. Something you should consider is getting or making an enclosure as lasers can burn materials and the fumes released can be pretty harmful if you inhale them. The unit itself is pretty basic, a motor spins two rollers, synced with the original control box. I can recommend if you're trying to engrave something that has some curvature to it. I've ordered accessories for my laser and 3d printers so many times, only to find that they come with little to no instructions and you have to do deep dives on message boards and youtube to figure out how they work. Absolutely not the case with this rotary! Came with very detailed instructions that are easy to understand and I had it up and running within 20 minutes. The roller adjustment is fairly simple and while I haven't used the stem holder yet I love that it's included - should be a huge help balancing oddly shaped objects for engraving! ... show more
