Was slightly concerned buying this given the GPU market right now. The card was shipped promptly and was received just as promptly. It was harder to get the old card out than out this one in. I will be looking at an extra support. The heatsink is simply massive. Drivers installed easily. FFXIV runs approximately twice as fast for me with this as opposed to a GTX 1080. Need to play with the Vibrance and Overclocking. Input lag seems better and switching in and out of FFXIV now takes less than 1 second instead of 5 to 7 though I would not know if that issue with the 1080 was due to the card, driver or some setting I flipped at some point. Turned the FPS down to 60 for now due to avoiding DSC which at 4K can make some text harder to see on any card. Depends on ones eyes somewhat. I just need to look for an HDMI 2.1 monitor now. Got this card around the $655 range as it was slashed from the $950 range. I may be spoiled because I’m used to cheaper GPU prices, even though they have dropped back to almost normal. Maybe if it was $100-$200 less, I’d say this would be a true bargain. This with my LG FreeSync Premium monitor on 144hz, 4K, and UHD. Handles all games like a champ and beasts it out on max settings for games. GPU temp seems relatively stable as well. As a first time PC builder. I was very impressed with graphics card and the fps rate was able to dish out. The price was the only issue. Due to the pandemic and the short supply of the graphics card. But was lucky to get from Asus itself. But if you are willing to wait. Good luck with that.

This graphics card was always a dream for me, top tier performance for hundreds of dollars cheaper than NVIDIA. However, it comes with a plethora of downsides that may be major red flag for some. 1. Ray tracing performance is sub-par, and your frame rates using this GPU with it will barely compare to the likes of the 3060 Ti and 3070. 2. 4K performance is overshadowed by NVIDIA cards. 3. No applications like NVIDIA shadowplay and NVIDIA canvas. 4. Drivers are not as optimized as NVIDIA cards. Overall, this GPU is perfect if you have a high refresh rate monitor that is 1080p or 1440p, and even better if you are into FPS games that require high fps. ... show more

    • 6800XT arrived in working condition, not "Used - Very Good" as described.

The package came earlier than was expected, which is a plus. The card also came VERY well packed from the seller- so they certainly deserve points for that. The description of the item was "Used - Very Good" condition so I expected just a little dust in the radiator or fans. However, the metal plate that secures the card to the motherboard had a pretty intense warp in it that I was able to straighten out. This doesn't affect performance, but that's a major ding that I'm surprised was shipped as is. The biggest problem is the four pin fan (closest to that metal warp) doesn't spin at all even with fan curves set to have the fans spinning at all times regardless of the temperature. I spun it with my finger and it will stop spinning almost immediately. This is something that absolutely affects card thermals and is not particularly acceptable for a card of this condition description. I've had to order a replacement fan that won't be arriving for another month. I'd rather fix this than return it, but be wary of the condition of your card on arrival. ... show more
