  • Loving This Motherboard! My Experience!
Style: ATX Size: TUF B650-Plus|DDR5|WiFi 6
Honestly any reviews on this motherboard about booting up is the end user who didn’t listen well about building first time pc hardware together. My first time putting together this hardware was fun and scary experience for me. Motherboard didn’t boot up fully; I freaked out and said i got a defect motherboard. I was so wrong and stupid, the likely causes are either motherboard, cpu, or ram sticks. Bios on the motherboard was out of date and root caused on why the yellow dram light turning on and main issues on booting up. I had to redo all the Fan pins connecting again so it’s in order starting with main case fans and water cooler pump/fans. RPG on the water cooler fans were cool but not a main thing for me as long as it cools the cpu heat greatly which does i believe. I can’t say for 100% sure since I haven’t had a desktop PC in years especially one that is gaming desktop pc over normal desktop computers are. I picked an AMD CPU Ryzen 5 7600X since its friendly budget cpu and handles all my gaming needs greatly. It can handle 5200mhz speeds from ram good. The system rams are Corsair Vengeance DDR5 clock at 5200mhz speeds, two sticks of 8gb for total of 16GB in duel memory channel mode. Plan to upgrade it to 32gb later on. Cpu cooler is water cooler by Corsair H100xRGP elite liquid cooler. Finally main boot drive is crucially p3 plus 1TB gen 4 which has incredible read and write rate speeds that the motherboard handles like a pro. Motherboard has many USB ports for connecting USB of different speeds like USB 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 and USB type C as well two of then for 10 or 20 speeds. I would had love if it supported USB 3.0 speeds or higher since they are already backwards compatible towards older usb speeds. Anyway we have 4 x usb 2.0 ports, two usb 3.0 ports, and finally two usb c ports for connecting with. One Ethernet connection port that gives 2.5 gigabytes speeds for online experience. The system is fully stable on running all the hardware perfectly. I plan to upload a video review so keep eye out for other parts mentioned here. ... show more

  • Nice motherboard
Style: ATX Size: ROG B650E-F|DDR5|WiFi 6E
Lots of options in the UEFI, board looks great in person. Has some nice accessories and stickers. Packaging is great. Has a cool speedy boi racer type of keychain for those with speedy cars. Definitely recommended especially after seeing reviews. Would buy again.

  • This was a waste of time and money
Style: ATX Size: TUF B650-Plus|DDR5|WiFi 6
Again and again I had crashes with this board, replaced the video card (regret there, but it seemed like that was the problem). Audio hissing and pops, okay, fine- typical from realtek, but it even made noise when the machine was *off*. Eventually this motherboard determined the CPU was bad, and refused to boot. Checking online, reseating the CPU might solve the problem. So I did (which means more wasted thermal paste), and then, finally it determined that the issue was I had USB power overloads. Even when I unplugged EVERY USB device on the the board. It just wouldn't boot. I spent over a month and am now outside my return window. The solution? I bought an ASRock motherboard and it's been fine. This product is trash, and ASUS should be ashamed for making it. I've been building computers since 1988, and this is by far the worst experience I've ever had. Absolute junk. And the ASRock board? Not only does it "just work", it's got a 100% better UI for the BIOS. ASUS bios still feels like it's 1990.. I would not recommend. I don't even know what to do with this trash. This *probably* cost me $400 because of me not knowing WHAT exactly is wrong; I spent $1200 on a GPU and based on it constantly crashing, I went all out and spent $1700 on another, then the board just decided a permanent reboot loop at 15 seconds due to USB issues (with NO usb plugged in) was how it wanted to go. Maybe I just got a bad board, but if you google ASUS motherboard, I sure don't seem to be the only one. 100% money wasted Edit: sent to ASUS for repair, they refuse warranty repair claiming there is a bent CPU pin, which is somehow my fault. They want $130 to repair it, at which point they will send a replacement. I didn't bend it, it came that way. I can't even imagine what you could do to bend one (1) pin and not affect any of the ones around it. So apparently they aren't QCing their boards and blame the customer. I'm 100% out the $220 I spent on this board, they wanted to kick it up to $350, and on top of that, I had to pay $25 to send it in for an RMA they denied. Do not do business with ASUS. I'll be looking into litigation over this one. ... show more
