This is the absolute best portable thermal printer I have ever used in my life! This thing is wonderful because it has a great nice sleek design, touch buttons on the top to turn on, and even has a roll of thermal paper already loaded into the machine when you take it out of the box. It also has a very nice velvet carrying case to use so that you can carefully transport it and take it anywhere you go. It's great because I'm able to print out things like shipping labels and documents on the fly. This printer is so easy to use there's an app that I downloaded and I literally go to that app click on the document or image that I would like to print, turn on my printer and make sure that it's Bluetooth to my phone, click on the image or document that I wish to print. And voila everything's done it prints it out for me perfectly every time! This printer is so smooth and the way that it prints the images are perfect every single time, the paper does not ever jam or crease or wrinkle. This is hands down the smoothest and ultimate in thermal printing! I also love this because it is so compact it very easily fits into the side pocket of my laptop bag. I take it out when I need it I put it up when I don't it's not big and bulky so easy to use! I recommend this to anyone who doesn't consider their self to be tech savvy. I myself felt the same way and honestly I still do aside from a little bit of the basics here and there I don't really have much computer knowledge whatsoever. But I can tell you that's all you need to work this printer if even that much basic knowledge. It's literally is easy as download the app take the printer out of the box, press the easy to use touch button on top of the printer, when the light turns green it's on make sure your phone is Bluetooth to the printer go on the app choose what you would like to print out click on it hit print and Wham it's done just like magic! Couldn't be easier. And another great thing about this is you charge it up with a basic USB to see charger how awesome is that!? If you want to see this for yourself, there are several on YouTube available to watch that demonstrate this in seconds, and they're step by step.     • Shipping label print quality is very good. Easy to set up and use. Doesn’t work well with 4x6 labels

This review is about printing SHIPPING LABELS directly from an iPad as that was the reason I got the printer. I can’t comment on its other uses. This portable printer is super convenient due to its size and portability! I have a shipping label printer but can only use it plugged into my computer. I’ve been looking for a printer that I could print labels directly from my iPad and this definitely works! Pros: 1. Very easy to set up. Turn on the printer, insert the paper (a small roll comes with the printer), turn on Bluetooth, install the app, connect the printer, and go! It took less than 5 minutes to get the printer up and running, and now it takes less than a minute to print a label. 2. Print quality is excellent! There are 3 options for how dark the print is. I went with the heaviest, and the labels are crisp and clear. The labels look better than my actual label printer! 3. It’s small and doesn’t take up much space. It comes with a soft fabric bag to protect it between uses. 4. The instruction manual was simple and easy to follow. 5. The seller reached out directly with helpful tips. 6. You can print just one label. My actual shipping label printer has a roller at the back, which means it has to have a blank label after the one that’s in the printer for it to work. With this portable printer, the roller is in the front so it only needs the label that’s inside the printer. Cons 1. It doesn’t work the best with 4x6” shipping labels. While the pictures show it’s compatible with 4” paper, the METRIC measurements are what the printer actually prints. Thus, the printer works the best with 110 mm width. 4x6” shipping labels are 100 mm, so you have to center 4x6” labels exactly between the 110 mm mark inside the printer. If the front of the label is at the front of the printer, there is a 1/4” gap of blank space, which cuts off the bottom of the label. Thus the label has to be just past the roller in order to print the whole label. 2. There are no “tabs” inside the printer to keep the label in place, like there is in my actual label printer. You need to change the label size manually in the app, which is quick and easy but is one more step. My actual label printer detects the label size automatically and keeps the label centered. 3. This wouldn’t print labels off my Safari tab. I copied and pasted the label into the website address bar and the label looked perfect on the first screen. It was completely blank on the print preview screen, and the label was blank. In order to print a label I had to save it to my iPad. Once saved it worked perfectly though! 4. The power cord gets REALLY hot when plugged into a USB wall charger! It also makes a slight humming sound. Both of those are concerning to me due to fire hazard, and I would NOT have the charger plugged in while I wasn’t right next to the printer. Overall it’s a handy printer and I’m glad I got it, but honestly for printing just labels it’s not the best. I’m still giving it 4 stars though as the pros outweigh the cons. ... show more
