I promptly received my Minifuse 2 audio interface from the Amazon Arturia Store and could not be more impressed with the exceptional quality and modern design. The hardware and software seamlessly integrate, accelerating the personal recording workflow. The hardware's knob feel is like nothing I've experienced... soft to the touch, yet turn firmly and smoothly. The knob cap indicator lines light up, which was a pleasant surprise; a soft glow emits from where the knob meets the faceplate, giving it a futuristic look. There’s even a USB hub on the back, freeing up a computer port previously reserved for my authorization dongle. Very convenient! The bundled software sets it apart from the competition, providing a user experience that exceeds expectations. Vintage emulations of staple recording studio gear provide the necessary palette of sounds for any modern audio production. The provided quick start instructions simplified installation by providing a URL to a web page that offers all the included software, along with instructional videos to guide you through the process. After getting the control panel installed, the Arturia updater app downloaded all the included plugins for me, updating to latest versions as well. It’s definitely refreshing that a product delivers not only on design aesthetics, but also provides smooth installation and guidance along the way. I got this not needing too much out of an audio interface other than to get audio from my ddj fx4 to my powered JBL studio monitors for DJ practicing and for recording samples into maschine. EDIT: After having it for 3 months, the 1/L output appears faulty. It drops audio and will just output a hum, which goes away (for just a few seconds) when I physically put my hand on the box. Output 3/4 are unaffected, but the Monitor knob doesn't work for that output so I can't even use a workaround effectively. Contacted Arturia support and hopefully they can help me. Still, annoying that a new device would have a defect so early in its life. I have had a Scarlett 2i2 for about 8 years, and it has served me well. However, I've been curious about moving to a USB C interface and needed additional inputs finally, so I figured I'd change companies since Arturia is known for quality products. I'm glad I finally did, as I'm very impressed with this interface. Downloading the control software manages the firmware as well as general configuration, letting you see the input and output meters in one spot. You can also set the latency and hz. For the very first setup, you may need to close the app and reopen it, or restart your machine, so that everything can update as needed. Once it's running, I'm seeing latencies at 32 samples / 48khz of about 5ms, which is crazy fast for me. I couldn't go lower than 128 with my old interface, so seeing the ability to go to 64 easily and even 32 is great. Very responsive and doesn't add unexpected stress to my machine (Windows desktop, about 4 years old). Similarly, the control software makes it easy to see how audio is coming in and going out, with meters for monitoring and also master sliders & panning. You can adjust the output master so you have more leeway in the output knobs, which is important due to the fact that the box has some serious power. I can barely touch the headphone knob before it's uncomfortably loud! That's great for when I need the power, though. Overall, very happy with the purchase, and if you're looking for an interface with a few more ins & outs than the standard 2x2, I'd recommend it over others in the price point due to the great drivers. ... show more

The arturia mini fuse 2 works really great for a beginner with a limited budget, the best part is that it comes with software, plugins and some extras for the music inclined people. I bought it to plug a dynamic mic and for online classes and meetings and for that is wonderfull, but i wished the volume had a little bit more range. ... show more

Before I get indepth I want to say this is my second interface so far and it beats my previous one (Steinberg UR-12) by an enormous amount. 1. The volume of the Minifuse 1 is significantly higher than my previous interface 2. The USB Hub Functionality is great, since I can hook up my MiniLab 3 to it and not use an extra port. 3. The MiniFuse is visually appealing, as well as very tiny. Overall I really love the value this provides for the price, as well as the frame being made out of metal i can 100% stand by Arturia! ... show more

I can’t speak to how this compares to other audio interfaces, but - so far I couldn’t be happier. Solid construction comparable to other Arturia products. So far I’ve only used it as a D/A converter to run music out of my computer to my sound system, but I’d been using the default 1/8” stereo jack; the reduction in noise using the AudioFuse is simply amazing. A complete lack of 1KHz USB noise, too. My only negative is the pain of setup: I had to install Arturia’s licensing software stuff to register and ‘unlock’ the device. Plus there’s some bloatware that may or may not be worth looking at. That said: the install on my PC was smooth and *fingers crossed* I’ll never have to touch it again. In summary: sweet little device, not overly complicated or overburdened with features, which is how I like it. Power is via USB using an included cable, and another plus is not having to deal with yet another wall-wart power supply. So far it’s a complete WIN. If any gremlins appear, I’ll update this review. ... show more
