I have an 11-month-old Yorkie puppy who is very energetic and lets me know when it’s time to go out. I have always seen this product and decided to give it a try now - my intention was to put it in the backyard in such a way that I could just open the sliding door and let her do her stuff. Further, my backyard is contained within a lanai, so I’m confident she won’t get lost or stolen. Once I unrolled this mat, she started smelling it and after a few hours she started using it to pee. I was surprised how quickly she knew it was for that! I contemplate it’s because it looks and feels very real as the front lawn. I would like to highlight the holes in the bottom are handy for cleaning purposes, so nothing would stay on top after a pressured stream of water. The only thing I didn’t like is the mat releases some sort of black debris, which I guess it comes from the bottom of it. Amazing. I’m thrilled to have this the LGR SHINE Artificial Grass Turf for Dogs 5 ft x 10 ft,1.38 inch Extra Large Fake Grass. The realism and thickness is fantastic. I’m not sure why I waited so long to partake in such a thing. I honestly, I have this stereotype and I can only look at the fake grass in tunnel vision dimension, and what I see is this plain solid 1 color of “green”, matted plastic, paper thin blade, the kind of Astro turf known at the old time amusement park, and also known…at the run down ole putt-putt mini golf at the edge of town. I can surely say…the fake grass look, feel, and quality has come a bit further from what I grew up with, and become to be impressed with. The LGR Shine Artificial Grass Turf has shined a new light and has lead to a new impression. I won’t even look at anything less than what has been newly presented to me here. The quality of the build, the mixture of the colored blades of grass, the thickness, the product weight, and ease of use, and especially the ease of cleaning. I live in 5th wheel RV with my 5 year old pup. My site is a gravel site as well as the drive way up to it, and to the back of it. It can get pretty dusty. I got this artificial grass for my pup, not for bathroom relief, but for a place to layout, soak up the sun, chill and watch, and take in the freshness of the outside. My pup loves it, and I love that she’s not getting lathered in dirt and dust. With no green grass immediately near me, this was my resolve . Not only does it add color around the RV, it brings the drab to a vibrant new life. Easy to manage and clean. It so real looking, I’m still beside myself on why I waited so long to do this. I recently received this "LGR SHINE Artificial Grass Turf for Dogs 5 ft x 10 ft,1.38 inch Fake Grass Pee Pad for Potty Training,Extra Large Grass Rug for Indoor/Outdoor Patio,Dogs Wee Wee Pad,Turf Grass Mat for Pets." which serves as the "soft grassy area" for my pup to use when I'm gone for the day. We have her "pee area" set up just outside the sliding glass door, accessible via doggy door, and this artificial turf has been the upgrade she's been wanting for months! This product arrived in a pretty large box, all rolled up like a rug-wrapped corpse, ready to be dumped into the nearest river! It took a little time after getting it to retool the actual ground where the rug would eventually be placed, but after clearing out the rocks and smoothing out the dirt to make it flat-ish, we put this in place and secured it with some ground spikes. Loving that it has the drain holes spaced throughout - I was concerned about drainage, but so far it hasn't been an issue. Seems to be holding up, though I will update this review later in the year if it doesn't hold up after it has been subjected to full sun exposure for a few months. Durability isn't really something I can determine yet, but you will know it hasn't fallen apart if there isn't a header on this review that looks like [EDITED XX/XX/XX] - which is what I'll do when/if I have to come say things went poorly. I don't expect that to happen though because the fibers aren't fraying or coming loose yet and I've not had any unexpected debris coming off it when cleaning. My daughter's 5th grade graduation was aloha-themed, and a couple moms and I were responsible for decorations. We set up this balloon arch backdrop but felt like it needed a little something more. I remembered that I had this 4x6 artificial grass mat and laid it out at the foot of the backdrop, and it was just the finishing touch we needed! The rug withstood 82 graduates and their families posing for photos in front of the backdrop, and by the end of the morning, it looked almost exactly like it did before the ceremony began. I was very pleasantly surprised not to see it looking more trampled. I hosed it down after bringing it back home and let it dry in the sun before rolling it back up. This worked out so perfectly for us that I think I'll be saving it for our future party decor needs! ... show more
